From the "first system thread" , where the OP was gently chided using a cheap PWM controller, I wonder what is an affordable and compact actual MPPT controller, for such small systems?

I have a Vevor controller that claims to be MPPT (pretty sure it is), but is kind of large, and cost me well over $100.

Looking for a standalone appliance, ideally.

Something that is set and forget, or old people can operate with an IR remote. Absolutely nothing which requires extensive installation on a PC (I count Frigate in that), or an outside/pay subscription.

I can get my cameras to view on VLC, but it needs set up each time something happens to the PC or Raspberry Pi I do that on.

We had an old MJPEG camera, which worked with an app on the Roku TV app. None of my newer cameras have MJPEG for the app to view. The old folks could access that camera from the TV app.

The camera(s) will be set up in a livestock barn to keep an eye on birthing livestock.

Where to discuss NVRs, in general? Not particular brands, or other noise about home/business security?

I need one compatible with ONVIF/RTSP cameras, can be used with an IR handheld remote (so old people not used to touch screens can use it), and absolutely does not require an outside account/subscription to set up and use.

Old phone: Galaxy S10, Rogers network (for 7-11 Speakout). USB-C port becoming dodgy.

New phone Moto G Play 2024, Koodo network.

Pretty sure they are up to date.

I have half dozen or more apps with logins for IOT, and other stuff. Initial transfer transferred data close to the OS (Google Login and the like), and the fact I have these other apps, but failed to transfer the login to use the apps/equipment (or did, but not in a way useful to the app). How to transfer them, en masse, so I don't have to muck with each app individually?

Just have 250 Mbit Fiber Internet yesterday.

I share it with my brother across the road (maybe 150M, clear sight), currently using CPE bridges called KuWifi, I bought about 3 or 4 years ago.

They are limited by 100Mbit Ethernet, and were okay for DSL his way, and Starlink mine, but saturate the 100Mbit easily with fibre.

On top of that, it seems, the POE they use is not standard POE, Okay the way they are used up to now, but getting a POE switch might mage some things simpler, although I can get by with the passive/proprietary POE to save costs.

Ideal is a CPE system as simple to set up and use as the KuWifi has been, but can actually pass most of the 250Mbit internet, and be power

Have a few IP cameras (pretty well all support RTSP/Onvif, various brands) I would like to view on my TV at once.

Something old people friendly if possible (they don't get touch phones or tablets). Maybe set an forget, they just turn the TV on, to that input.

The TV is a Roku TV, the only app it has only supports MJPEG, which is less than ideal. Not sure if there is a one time upgrade cost, but that is a last resort. An ongoing subscription for anything is not happening. Of course, the TV has usual TV inputs.

I have a couple PCs from last decade, that have not very recent releases of Linux Mint on them. The older one with 500GB HDD, newer one with 256GB SSD. I have a Raspberry Pi3, but

Is there such a thing as a DIN rail MPPT charge controller?

Maybe 50W-100W panel, into 20Ah-50Ah 12V LiFePo4. For some remote equipment in an enclosed box around 10x16x5", with a DIN rail (with network switch, intend to possibly add timer and temp controller for cooling fan).

Looking for a module/board to work with 3S/4S/5S 18650 battery pack with BMS, to charge from USB-C PD, and provide USB A and C (PD, up to 60W, for the Pinecil)) out, to charge phones, tablets, possibly power my Pinecil.

Should be available one module from Amazon or eBay (not a 3 pack)

Roku (Express standalone, and TCL TV), CBC Gem app.

I can log in though google, but I need to do that every evening I want to watch TV from Gem. I reset the Roku Express a couple months ago, but that is after I had to go through this rigamorole.

I would really prefer not to have to make an actual Gem account. I don't care to keep track of at least another password.

What is my fix, or the procedure to persistently log into the Roku CBC Gem app with Google?

Powerline AV2 to 2.4 Ghz WiFi N300 or N600.

Not a kit (already have AV2 network). Available from Amazon. Amazon search really sucks, so I am asking here.

I currently have a pair of D-link DHP600AV, (one in the house, one in an outbuilding, providing network for a camera).

Either the outbuilding end or the ancient AP I have out there is on its last legs, so would like something new, and keep hat network more reliable that it has been recently.

Such a thing?

4/5/6 18650 cells, with USB A, and C PD out, and USB micro and C input.

Optional, solar that can actually charge the batteries on its own, settable barrel DC output.

I bought one a few years ago, it barely charged itself, took a bath (cells still fine), basic micro USB charge, 5V only out. Need something new. Preferably from amazon.

And analog TV in general.

But those UHF stations from all over were fun to get. At least one summer we regularly got WKBD,and I go t to see most of The Three Stooges and Benny Hill specials to that point (He was still alive and making them).

O don't know if discussion of these smaller engines is welcome here, but I would like to oknow what the model numbers mean, if anything.

I know Y prefix is a horizontal engine.

First number is number of cylinders.

Most of them are TV some letter,

Then a number which is cylinder bore in mm.

I have a John Deere HPX Gator, with a 3TNV70, and a 4 letter suffix, which I reckon is build options and customer ID.

I also am looking for a similar engine for my zero turn mower, which is why I would like to know. I know where I can get some surplus, mostly ex reefer engines. I just want to know what I am looking at.
