Example: Yesterday I argued with someone.

They said "<this beauty thing> is so good for you", I said "it's not good, it's just less bad than the other option".
They responded "you could say it about everything, it's the best to not do any <beauty thing>. But this is better than the other option so it's good". I said "no, <so good> means beneficial, this thing is just less bad but still damaging".
They said I am nitpicky, I said that I am only claryfing because someone that doesn't do any <beauty thing> and is not in the topic may decide to do it after her comment because "so good" means beneficial.

We did not reach any agreement. It seemed they didn't understand

Rewatching the whole series right now, and it baffles me how inconsistent ghosts are both within the seasons and the franchise as a whole.

In the Murder House, Nora at first was confused; then she was normal and aware of everything like when she protected young Tate from the Infantata; then she got no idea where she was, asking where is her baby; then she was half-confused while she went to the open house...

But Hayden and others were fine right away, and Violet didn't even know she was dead.

In the 1984, the hitchhiker got no idea what was going on for 14 (?) years. Ray also walked around confused. But Montana and others were aware of being ghosts ("you are doing this purgatory shit all

I am not in this situation but I have been thinking about it.

Person A meets person B on a dating app and they are both clear about wanting a FwB relationship. But actual friends not just fuck buddies.

They go on a date, they like each other, and they have sex. Sometimes they go on dates, sometimes they watch movies, sometimes they only meet to have sex. Your typical FwB.

On the 5th (or whatever, just not one of the first) meetings person B reveals they are very rich. They didn't disclose it ecause they wanted people to like them for them but now they are sure about person A and want to take them on fancy dates and buy them presents because they like them and can afford it.

They are st

I have realised that for some reason everyone passes me on bikes. People visibly less fit than me, older, with older bikes. I have explained it to myself that my bike might be heavier than theirs (Giant Rove if someone is into bikes) but today a guy on a folding bike went SO MUCH faster than me and the wheels were like half my size. My friend recently has bought a very expensive professional bike and said it's "super fast". So can my bike be super slow?

I know how to use shifters and my leg muscles are in a pretty good shape. Any ideas?

I am at season 8 right now and from the beginning I've had this feeling that the show always unfairly portrays Claire and Mitch as the bad guys in every dispute. There is so much little conflict in the show that I can't give you an example now but I've this lingering feeling.

What I can think of is when Phil was flirting with some woman and pushed a shopping cart into Clair and she fell. No one in the family believed her to a weirdly gas-lighty extent as far as I remember and when she got the security tapes from the store she was portrayed as crazy and the villain.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Phil or Cam are bad husbands. Their personalities balance each other amazingly and each part

I've heard so much about raising the debt ceiling or defaulting on debt or $1 trillion coin.... and then I heard no explaination. I tried googling it but only articles that pop up are from before the solution. So what happend?
