Hello everyone! I have been learning ASL for 3 months and lately, I have been watching videos from Learn How to Sign Youtube channel. I loved that channel so I decided to follow Meredith's Instagram and Tiktok pages. While I was doing that, I saw there were some hateful comments from people telling others to learn ASL from deaf instructors. I do need good recommendations and I will appreciate it if you have any!

I did make a post about my brother who's my roommate around 3 months ago and he still don't have the effort to change his ways. His hygiene is pretty bad, doesn't clean up after himself, sleeps most of the day, doesn't tell his therapist about his issues and plays video games all night. My caregiver and I are starting to have enough with him and thinking about kicking him out of the house. I still don't know what to do with him.

I want to do better at my job.

💼 Education/Employment

Hi everyone! I work at a local pizza restaurant as a guest service team member (busser, food runner and host) and cashier. I have been doing good at my job, but in the last 2 days, my managers on duty had a talk with me about my work performance and I have been though it before. It made a realize that slow days can be as pain as some of the busiest days. They told me that I need to start asking them and the shift managers if I need to get anything done more often but it's sometimes hard for me to do so since I'm introverted and struggle with communication skills. I need to help out and do whatever needs to get done more often instead of standing around whenever I don't have anything to do, b

My brother who is more than a year younger than me is gifted, neurodivergent, and has some heath issues. We both grew up in a somewhat dysfunctional family and went through some traumatic events. The big issue my family members, caregiver and I have been having for the last few years is my brother basically doesn't have good social and life skills. Plus, he won't open up especially to his counselor about his traumatic events. We had been trying to get him to do stuff like household chores, getting a full time or second job, and overall being an adult. I don't know what to do with him and I am afraid that he may become homeless.
