Arc Raiders has a lot of room for improvement when it comes to controller. Two in particular come to mind but I would love to hear other peoples ideas as well. First, and probably most importantly, is custom binds. In 2025 there’s really no excuse to release a game where you can’t remap your buttons. In fact I spent quite a bit of time trying to think if any other game I’ve played has had this issue since I was playing on old gen consoles like the xbox 360 and gamecube. Secondly, in terms of looting, having left trigger behave similarly to left mouse click on a mouse while in the looting menu. This way players on controller would be able to drag and drop loot around, drop items to the ground

I didn't see this in the patch notes (forgive me if it's in there) but you used to be able to walk out of buried city with 40-50 Great Mullein from that one building. I just hit it 4-5 times to be sure and I'm walking away with around 15 every time. It was a nice way to end a raid for a few extra thousand coins or to make herbal bandages. Nice while it lasted.

I left warzone a few years ago and came to apex exactly because you could move around the map without an oppressive DMR meta. Now every gun is a Kraber. The charge rifle? kraber. The peacekeeper? Kraber. The scout? Kraber. The repeater? Kraber. If you peek into the line of site of two players you die instantly with no ability to react. Combine that with caustic carrying zone 4 gas in every canister + alter tp where no fight ever ends and you get a meta worse than Seer on release. I'm out. They turned apex legends into a misery economy where 99% of the time you're on the receiving end. Brutal. Absolutely brutal. Uninstalling until they unravel some of this mess. GGs.

I have a friend who wants to start playing apex and I thought this would be a good time to make a new account and learn mnk. My question is: if you were doing it all over again, what do you wish you had been doing from the beginning that made you a better mnk player? Whether its investing in certain peripherals or using a certain kovaaks routine, maybe binds or sens you wish you started out with that were a pain to re-learn later on. Anything that you thought “I wish I had been doing this all along” I’d love to hear it. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

They already diluted all the ranked badges now with wildcard theyre diluting the one thing apex had left to separate top players. I feel like apex got it completely backwards with this one, am I out of touch? They reverted the kills and stats tracking which I feel like is way less of a big deal. They should have just made it a recolor of the current badges like how they did with the solos 20b.

This was a feature of the G7 Pro that I was really excited about. I mainly play apex legends, and if youve ever played apex on controller you know theres certain times where you want to reload instead of interact (playing a knockdown shield). On mnk you can assign different binds to those actions, so when I heard you could map keyboard keys to your controller I immediately thought of assigning “reload” to the d-pad. Unfortunately it’s just not working at all on my G7 pro. Has anyone been able to successfully bind a keyboard button to their controller yet?

I couldn’t be any more disappointed with Gamesir right now. Already had to wait forever with the preorder and the back left paddle jammed within a few hours. Even if they replace it, I’m likely going to have to wait another month+. So bummed.

Wouldn’t it make more sense from a balancing perspective that your recon legend, your scout legend, be the one that is able to push forward or retreat quickly for information? Ash’s kit with double jump instead of dash would be more centered around accessing height faster than other legends (still makes her a skirmisher but at least it’s more consistent). Feels like swapping these two abilities balances them both pretty fairly.

I have no evidence of this, but I have a hunch Sparrow is going to be another Forge situation. I know the voice actors are on strike but I thought it was interesting there wasnt any voicelines/ dialogue in the teaser trailer. Everyone was pretty sure the next legend was going to be Vantage’s mother and then kind of out of nowhere it’s an italian guy. There’s also no prior mention of Sparrow in all those “future legend leaks” from a few years ago. I know everythings subject to change but Thordansmash tweeted a picture of forge last week with no caption (I would link but no X links on this subreddit). New season is a week away and there hasnt been any leaked gameplay footage of Sparrows abilit
