Hi all. As I'm sure many of you have noticed, we've seen a sharp rise in the number of "check out this new Kubernetes tools I just made" posts. We love how excited people are about the Kubernetes ecosystem, but it's become very hard to judge if these are spam or not. So as a middle-ground we've created a new automatic weekly thread and all such posts now must go as comments in there. "New tool" posts outside of that thread will be removed. You can check out https://www.reddit.com/r/kubernetes/comments/1rea8qu/weekly_show_off_your_new_tools_and_projects_thread/ for this weeks thread to get things started! If you have any questions please ask them below or message us moderators at any time. Th

Hi all, your friendly neighborhood mod team here. We're updating our rules concerning how proxies can be shared here: putting shared images behind any kind of "hoops" is no longer allowed here. This includes signups, email lists, registration forms, paywalls, or anything similar. Tip jars and the like are still allowed subject to all previous rules on them, however you must also provide a direct link of some kind. We want all creators to feel welcome and supported here, but we also cannot have this become a space for marketing or advertising as it would both put our community at great risk and also erode our foundations as place for open sharing.

As a reminder, proxies can never be offered

I've finally been starting to play with making epic (and later legendary) production chains. There seem to be two main approaches:

Bottom-up meaning build large fields of quality-module'd recyclers and feed them low-level components like ores, plates, or coal. Tap off the high end bits there, loop the rest, eventually use those components to build quality things. This works but is very slow and doing the actual building requires either very inefficient train use (moving around tiny amounts of things) or using drones for the last mile of construction.

Top-down, make a factory for the product you want with quality modules slotted in, pull the quality items off the output belt, recycle the r
