The majority of interviews still have yet to go out. Many programs will interview as late as March and April. Given that it’s literally the middle of September, yall’s impatience and neuroticism and doom-and-gloom is truly off the charts right now.

I didn’t get any interviews until February, and then I ended the season with 4 total MD II’s, the last one taking place in early April.

Lmao so chill the fuck out and wait

The math might get a little confusing so stay with me.

I’ve been with AT&T for just over 3 years. When switching, we brought over 7 lines and traded in 7 phones for new iPhones. We got $6,400 in phone credits in the 36 months since then, while paying them roughly $8,100 ($225/month) in cell service fees. Net = $1,700. Or $47/month for 7 lines of unlimited (and not even on the deprioritized entry level plan).

From what I know of Apple, they barely give discounts to cell carriers/retailers, so AT&T is on the hook for probably >90% of the phone cost. I also know they’re not making much money from the scuffed and scratched 3+ year old phones we trade in.

Jumping to now, we’re about to u

I have 7 lines on a shared plan. I have it through a discounted rate AT&T offers for their unlimited plans (25% for military, teachers, healthcare workers, and first responders).

It comes out to $31.30 per line after taxes, for the first 6 lines, on AT&T’s mid-tier plan (50GB premium data and 15GB hotspot), and the 7th line is on the top-tier plan at $37 after taxes, in order to retain their HBO Max benefit.

Total cost for plan = $225 for 7 lines

Also, we trade in our phones every 3 years now to take advantage of AT&T’s iPhone trade in promotions which give $1,000 off the new iPhones. So in essence we get 7 brand new iPhone Pros/Pro Maxes for free every 3 years. Obviously this locks you i

Cooked. Everyone said it’s a lot of material, but truly beyond anything I coulda imagined. Feels like there’s not enough hours in the day to cover it all. Felt guilty while eating and using the bathroom lol.

Strongly recommend y’all switch majors fr. Aight gotta get back to it now✌️

I’m looking at a Doubletree. The difference between the regular and the breakfast included rate is $6.

Is this “breakfast included” a dollar amount credit I get to use at the restaurant? How does it work?

Also i already get $30-36 in F&B credit due to HH status which should be enough to cover my breakfast so how would this play into it? Thanks

I’m a Navy Fed member, but a rep on the phone said they can’t do it. Doesn’t make sense to me, but anyways. Their rates are as low as 5.69% for used auto loans up to 72 months.

I am currently in the process of buying a car. I am buying it from Florida, while I live in another east coast state. Is there any lender that will come close to these rates but will also allow me to buy down the rate to 0% APR?

For religious reasons i cannot pay traditional interest.

For religious purposes, I cannot pay traditional interest. So, I’m looking to buy down the interest rate to 0 APR%.

I spoke to a customer service rep in the lending department who said that it’s not possible but he also asked me “what buying down the rate means”, so I’m not sure if he knows what he was talking about.

Financially it makes no sense as to why a bank wouldn’t allow it, as they stand to easily make more money by doing so.

Does this charge still apply if I used a corporate code to get a discounted room? The receipt does not specify.

And if so, will the daily “benefits” still apply ($10 food credit, $25 spa credit, $10 laundry credit)?

And final question, if these benefits do apply, are they stackable on top of HH Gold/Diamond benefits?

There’s way less WL movement on SDN for the 4 M.D. schools I’m waitlisted at, as compared to prior years.

I’ve seen a couple people say that AAMC and schools have been more lenient with the April 30 PTE deadline due to the FAFSA issues, allowing people to still hold onto multiple acceptances while they await financial aid packages, and that maybe this could be the reason WL movement hasn’t quite picked up.

Can anybody speak to this?

So i worked for a year as a scribe for a surgeon. He was very busy and kinda flaked when I needed a letter of recommendation during this app cycle. So I did not have a doctor letter included in my application.

However, he is now offering to write a letter to the schools I’m waitlisted at to “vouch as a physician” and hopefully move the needle. I also recently sent update letters to the 2 schools that accept them.

Should I take his offer? I don’t know how adcoms would view this

Plus a couple other schools that use the same AMP website service. Is this just me or is it down?
