Hey all, first time poster here and still somewhat of a novice to the game. I'm playing a Druid in my campaign and I just got access to this spell. I don't know how exactly this may have worked in 5e so forgive me if this is basically unchanged.
I've been digging into 5.5e mechanics a lot lately and trying to come up with some clever strategies and wanted to get some opinions on this one.
Here's the TL;DR:
Can I polymorph an enemy into a Giant Seahorse and just let it suffocate to death?
Here's the Mechanics
Updated Polymorph rules:
- The target retains its own HP
- It gains some amount of Temporary Hit Points
- The spell ends early when the target has no THP remaining.

I found my old cards and started investigating value.
Didn't know anything about psa or psa 10. Friends that saw my collection got me really excited throwing around big numbers.
So I've spent a couple days learning more.
Now I have a burning question for anyone who, like me, had found their old collection but was certainly not a sterile lab collecting only kind of 12 year old.
From what I've gathered about psa 10, the chances any card I have would score that high without having been meticulously careful about them seems really low.
I have a few cards worth lke $40 ungraded and over $1k at PSA 10.
It's hard not to be interested so I'm looking for anyone who found old cards a
Couldn't be a better example of an echo chamber. People that like this game enough to be on a subreddit for it are not the ones making basic mistakes.
Your PSAs aren't reaching those people.
I'm all for a circle jerk but let's call it what it is goddam.
Let me ping Retreat or Caution to back away from bad calls like running into death rite bird. Once the team starts the fight it's way too difficult to regroup with everyone and agree to bail.
Let me ping my items so I can tell my team I picked up a Stonesword key or they can see why I am pinging mines with my lvl 0 weapon. For that matter let me see my teammates items, not just their equipment.
We all want to know if the chest at a cathedral had a key, give us a way to see or communicate it.
Let me ping my dropped runes. My teammates aren't paying enough attention to know that I want to detour to pick up a bunch of runes I dropped 5 minutes ago.
Let me ping a sequence. For a game all
Need a pickup for my group in the Pride parade today. I made a reservation months ago and they called me this morning saying they couldn't offer it anymore due to a recall. Personally I think it's BS but I talked to 4 people and they all said to go kick rocks.
I really need a pickup truck with a bed. We need to use it just to move our stuff (tables and things) and to hold our big balloon along the parade route.
Won't put any kind of decorations on the truck, just use it for holding things.
I know it's a long shot but if anyone wants to help, let me know. In Clark County now. Need to get the truck asap and can return it tonight, fully gassed.
I can pay $100.
I feel like I've noticed an uptick in cigarettes recently.
Curious if there are smokers here. Could you share your story of when you started smoking, what your habits are now, and what are your general thoughts about it as a habit?
There's been so much negativity on this sub lately.
Tell me your favorite things about being a homeowner. I'll go first:
- Smart home integration. Man, do I love to geek out on this stuff. Gadgets and gizmos aplenty, am I right?
- Wait that was easy. Fixing stuff and DIY is really intimidating at first but once you do it a few times you realize you're a lot more capable than you think and that not every failure leads to disaster. After getting a few "wins" under my belt, I became a lot more confident in my home and definitely started spending more $$$ at Lowe's.
- Dream big. It may not happen soon and it may not ever happen but it's really fun to imagine how my house co
