I'm bipolar and have very severe OCD (urges to maim myself and others, mostly). Also, some lesser psychological issues and some physical ones (Crohn's, primarily). I've been seeing doctors and psychologists for 20+ years and I'm about as stable as I'm going to get. I realize the ideal is to take care of your own problems before taking on a relationship but I'm already 30 and I've never been with anybody.
How do you reveal health problems of this magnitude to someone you're interested in or dating? It's not something that can stay a secret for long; I have to take mountains of pills and they have an effect on me as well. I also worry about hurting someone I'm with if they didn't know to stay
I'm really straining to remember about this game. It involved a sideshow type setting; one of the characters was an IRS agent who took the job because a tax dodger had run over his dog as a kid. This back story was told through a series of woodcuts along with voice over. The same thing was done for the other characters. I think the game was from the early to mid-90s and was not for children. It had a black sense of humor. And it wasn't Faust: Seven Games of the Soul, as far as I can tell.
Sorry if this is long. 30 year old hetero male, virgin, no relationship experiance at all. I guess if it's relevant, I don't have time for a social life, I work two jobs, seven days a week, for about 20K. I was hospitalized for a lot of high school and college, so I have never made friends there.
I've been struggling with a lot of mental and physical problems since I was very young (OCD, social anxiety, Crohn's, arthritis, bipolar, panic attacks, chronic migraines) and am on a mountain of powerful medications that have nasty side effects (decreased intellect, memory loss, weight gain, violent mood swings, lack of energy, and decreased libido). Also, I was born sterile, so that works against
I've been OCD since I was 6 or so and generally SSRIs have kept it under control. But I have a lot of other problems (bipolar, social anxiety, Crohn's, panic attacks, sterile, chronic migraines, arthritis) that have emerged as I've aged (30 now) and I have to take a pretty hefty load of powerful medications to keep it managable.
The side effects of the meds are fairly intense and the doctor recently tried to wean me off a bit of the Lexapro, to increase my energy level. It went very badly and my intrusive thoughts came back. I've re-upped the pills to the previous dosage but the thoughts are not going away. The most disturbing one is a compulsion to go out and slaughter all the people who
I've been sick my whole life: major social anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, Crohn's, arthritis, bipolar, migraines, and I'm sterile as well. I'll be 30 in March and I've never touched a girl, never gone to a normal school.
I have a Master's in Library Science but the job market is horrible for that, so I've been working two part-time positions, seven days a week for the past four and a half years without a promotion or raise. I have never really had any friends and the people I work with just want to go home, same as myself. The two jobs earn me a little north of 20K a year but I have no time for any social activities; this is being typed up at work.
I've been in therapy for 20+ years and I'm
So, I'm a 29 y.o. male heterosexual virgin, blah blah. The entirety of my experience with women was three dates with the same girl I met off Okcupid last year; she flinched whenever I so much as brushed up against her and wouldn’t shut up about Dr. Who and steampunk conventions. I wanted to bludgeon her. That was 14 months ago and I haven't had a positive response from anyone there since.
I've had a late start with dating because, generally speaking, my life is a fuck. Since I was 4 or 5, I’ve been legitimately mentally ill. It didn’t start all at once; the obsessive compulsive disorder was the original problem. My first real memories are of imagining myself cutting off my own face with a k
