I'm working with a high school mechanics class were they are replacing the valve covers on this engine, and when the covers were removed, the student found these round disks inside the covers, and we've never seen them before. Does anyone know what these are called? They are about the diameter of a pencil eraser. Photo thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi all, I ordered some replacement front pads for my 2015 Ford Explorer Limited before the old ones were worn out, but wanted to be sure the new ones were correct so I pulled the tire and caliper off today to check and noticed on the replacement pads there are what appear to be springs?? attached (in red), where as the originals do not have these springs. Curious if I got the wrong replacements, or if you just install these as normal and ignore the springs?

I have a weird one, one of our users reported that a few times per week, he will send email that just vanishes... no record of it in the sent items, its not in drafts, and its not stuck in the outbox. I've dealt with him before, and he doesn't tend to make things up, so I'm not doubting that he in fact sent these (10) emails. The rest of the emails he sent shortly after this went through.

The user is nowhere near his quota. I checked his outlook client for rules, and he has none. I checked the message trace, and can confirm that these messages he sent never made it to the server as the message trace shows nothing sent during that time window.

I'm currently trying to use mod_rewrite to change from an old platform to a new platform. (Cold fusion to PHP)

I'd like to rewrite the following:

to

https://www.example.net/translate.php?id=1

where "id" is a dynamic variable.

so far I've tried this:

    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^id=([0-9]*)$
    RewriteRule ^listings/listingdetail\.cfm$ /translate.php [L]    

it doesn't work as expected.

ADSL Internet isn't working since around 6AM today, did the usual, powered off the modem for around 20 mins, rebooted my router during that same time, so I've opened a ticket (981831) at 10am Mountain time, no response from TSI yet... called and got the "higher than average calls" but no option for a call back so I hung up. I'm looking for a good solution for a primarily Windows environment to add a few OSX clients to reliably access domain resources.

Paid software is fine.

We are about to demo Acronis Access Connect, however it seems to need a dedicated proxy (for lack of a better word) server that re-shares everything over AFP. I have my concerns that this proxy server would become overwhelmed with more than a handful of clients.

Our goals are to:

• Allow the machine to bind to our 2008 R2 AD servers

• Mount shared folders (ideally from a script or GPO)

• Print to shared printers

• Folder redirection

• Synchronization of folders (think offline files)

• A good Mac end user experienc
