I am entering my last year. I am a Cog Sci and Psych Major. I want to take bird psych or potentially cog sci courses. Any suggestions? I really want a chill year so can you recommend courses with minimal workload please.

I have pretty much completed all my program requirements so I need a bunch of electives to get credits (200 level or higher). I will also be working and I want more of a chill last year so I need bird courses that are actually birdy. I don’t mind courses with a regular weight content (like an average psych course) as long as the overall workload is light and I don’t have to worry about the course every week. I don’t mind short writing assignments or essays, but it isn’t my strong suit. I also don’t like readings, so anything with no readings or anything where I can skip the readings would be preferable. I either want courses with a final assignment instead of an exam or courses with little t

Hi I only have SOC 493, SOC 490, and SOC 483 left to graduate and I am trying to find the most practical and cost-efficient way to do it. I am trying to see if these courses are offered in the summer but I am not sure if I am looking at the right page for summer courses. I looked at the chang school course search but it seems like they weren't offered. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out how summer courses work or give me other advice on what I could do with my situation.

I am doing a CS minor and taking CSC209 as an extra course since its not required for the minor. I started taking it because I heard that it was very useful for job interviews but now I am hearing a lot of contradicting opinions and im not sure if its that useful. Im considering dropping the course because it has started to affect my other courses but my main concern is that i can only take 3 upper year courses and im not sure which would be most beneficial for employability.

Can you give some suggestions and insights into some 300 level courses that I would absolutely need for job interviews, resume etc. I heard that CSC309 was really important and so i was initially thinking about taking

I am taking STA237 this fall and I am not sure which prof would be better. Bethany White and Selvakkadunko Selvaratnam have really bad ratings in ratemyprofessor and Gong Zhang has no ratings. Has anyone taken it before with either Bethany White or Selvakkadunko Selvaratnam.

I am planning on taking either PSY220 or PSY230 but I'm not sure which one would be a better choice. PSY230 seems more interesting but PSY220 is a prerequisite to a lot of more interesting upper year courses. But I am only minoring in psych so I don't have to take a lot of upper year courses and I can easily find courses without PSY220 prerequisite

  1. How difficult is each one in general?
  2. What were the materials like?
  3. What are the assessments like in terms of structure, etc?
  4. Amount of readings? General workload, etc.
  5. I don't generally like essays so did either of them have long essays?

(I posted the same thing the other day but this time I need them for Fall term but if anyone has different winter course ideas I need backups too.)

Can someone suggest bird courses for first years. I have a very heavy schedule so I really need some easy courses that doesn't take too much of my time. Please suggest courses that doesn't have too many heave course work and mandatory readings. (Specifically fall courses needed)

Can someone give info on the structure of LIN101. How many and what kind of assignments are there, what is the difficulty etc. Also if someone has the textbook or some kind of course notes can they share it? I have zero clue on what the course material is about.
