Perspective MTU transfer here. Ive been writing essays for application season and I noticed the Common app essays for MTU are a bit more simple than other universities here. Wanted to ask if anyone has experience with these prompts and could offer any advice?
Trying not to overthink it, I really like MTU cause there's a lot of fellow engineers and many cool project teams and research programs similar to colleges like Umich. I love the outdoor as well, and being in Houghton in the UP would be awesome.
If anyone has any advice feel free to share!
Hello! Fairly new to Fusion, creating an insert to repair my cheap Armitron watch.
Im trying to drive a hole straight through the part at a specific horizontal/vertical distance. Ive tried generating a hole via separate sketches and using the hole tool, but all of these options want to follow the angle that the side of the insert is approaching along the X axis. Is there something im missing? Does anyone have any tips for making this hole straight?
I thought this was pretty cools. From an MIT InfiniteHistories interview:
Engineering is a socially derived activity. The business of engineers is to satisfy social itches, to meet the need that people perceive to exist, the needs that are expressed. That's not the all of engineering-- there's the sector of engineering that works for the government, in defense and national security-related things. But at its root, engineering is derived from society, and engineering graduates ought to understand something about the society, about the way it works, about how people behave, about how to relate to people, about how to communicate effectively. I've never met anyone in any field who
TL;DR: Im working on an RC car project and ive been wondering how long range transmission work for RC drones/cars?
Is it based on radio frequency technology, or maybe LASER or optical transmission? What are some common methedoligies? I recently learned about the DJI 03, looks like a pretty sick FPV system. reading up on the documentation to see if i can discern how there communication system works. I have a kit for an RC arduino based car from Elegoo, which uses wifi modules for communication and control between your phone and the arduino, which is what got me started on this journe
