My Whoop 4.0 doesn’t seem to charge well, is this a common issue?

Let me preface this by saying that I’ve updated all the firmwares, restarted the device multiple times, downloaded the battery updater to make sure that it’s up to date (it is), and have restarted my phone multiple times as well. None of this has helped.

What my current experience is:

• Got the device yesterday. Charged the battery to full as per the instructions, then set up the device.
• Put the battery on. It was 19% battery on the Whoop and said it needed 30% battery for a firmware update. I let it charge to 30% and did the firmware update. The time is about 9:30pm.
