I won against a 4.5, which makes this my first official recorded singles win against a 4.5 player. I'm very proud of this achievement and progress, and am super happy that I didn't get injured. That is all, I just wanted to share, thanks!

So recently I've been playing around with the idea of buying a stringing machine for my own personal use. My only requirements are: less than $500, 6-point mounting, and fixed clamps (no flying/floating). I don't care what kind of tension mechanism it is. I've done a bit of homework, and am unable to find any machine from major brands within that price range, new or used. But I noticed that Alibaba has quite a few different OEM stringers within my budget. Recurring names are brands like Gelinshi, AEF, and Siboasi. I figured that most machines come from factories in China anyway, so would it be risky to go this route?
So I tried to increase my light off delay to reduce print quality errors. I have a Photon M5 and an M7.
However, no matter what I set the light-off delay (off time) to in both Chitubox 2.3 and Anycubic Photon Workshop 3.6.2, the printers continue operating as if there's no light-off time at all. I usually set it to about 0.5s-1s. But as I watch the printer print, the light goes on immediately after finishing the retraction, with no regard for the light-off time setting.
Is there some trick to getting it to work? Thanks!
I'm pretty excited about this, so just wanted to share this with everyone. I played a 4.0 18+ singles tournament this past weekend, and I somehow managed to win! I played a total of 4 rounds (R16, QF, SF, F). I played the #4 seed in my first round, the guy who beat the #2 seed in the semifinals, and the #1 seed in the finals.
The finals was definitely the toughest match by far. The guy was super speedy, consistent, and could run down everything. I got lucky since most of his shots were floaters, and since I have a pretty aggressive game, I was able to attack the floaters and dictate points and then finish up at the net. His second serve was also a bit floaty, so I was able to attack that a
Hi all. So I've been getting consistently successful prints for the past few months on my M5 using Sunlu ABS-like resin, and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I recently decided to try Anycubic Standard Resin+ since it's cheaper, and I've been getting constant print failures. I've already calibrated the exposure with RERF tests. Everything else is left the same as before. Same 3D model, same temperature, same printer, same USB drive, same slicer (Chitubox and Photon Workshop), same supports, same resin settings. I'm using pre-supported models from creators that I know have good pre-supports, as they have printed perfectly when I was using the Sunlu ABS-like. I don't have any photos at the mom
