Sath mentioned Vaish is now working on sound. Hopefully she stays behind the camera.

Yet another Vaish warning.

Vaish warning. She's unfortunately also in this one.
It's one of my holdings at Schwab, and they have no information about it. The usual link on the symbol on the Positions page isn't a link. I tried chat and called with no luck. The price and mtk val both show N/A. I'd liked to know what I have.
I bought a stock with Schwab in my account in Sept 2025, and it shows:
missing for cost basis and cost per share. I bought the stock last September so I don't understand why they're having so much trouble fixing this software bug. I think I've talked to a dozen people that keep telling me they aren't allowed to fix problems, and I need to talk to someone else. My PCS guy claimed no one at Schwab could fix a bad cost basis, but I don't believe that.
I want to sell it, but several of their employees recommended this must be fixed before I sell or my 1099-B will show the entire amount I sell it for will be shown as profit. I think

Bonus: No Vaish!
I keep missing important calls and texts because it keeps turning itself on. I've missed so many calls from customers that I think I might lose my job.
I have that stupid focus garbage turned off on every device, but both Apple stores I visited claimed that disabling DND on an individual device doesn't work because Apple will sometimes hatefully decide to have one of your other devices enable it. We went through all of my devices, and none have it enabled so that wasn't the cause.
Under Focus settings I even added a few important contacts to always allow notifications, but that didn't do it. The crescent still keeps appearing and mutes phone calls and texts.
They gave up and said it's by

No Vaish which is good because she would have made this video even more awkward, and it's already pretty damn awkward.

Unfortunately the miserable Vaish and orange fat Trump supporter are in this episode.
I have a few thousand in it, and I'm not receiving interest. As of this morning, they took money from my account to pay SWVXX. I thought it paid money. Not take money. And why did it take them almost a month to take the money out of my account as the transaction history showed?
| Date | Transaction Type | Symbol | Description | Quantity | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 02/25/2026 as of 01/30/2026 | Cash Dividend | SWVXX | SCHWAB PRIME ADVANTAGE MONEY INVESTOR | -$0.10 | ||
I called, and while the guy I talked to actually spoke good English, he kept pretending to not understand my question. It's a fund that pays interest. Why is Schwab taking money out of my account for that? It's only a dime,
jamal@macbook src % brew update
Error: You have not agreed to the Xcode license. Please resolve this by running:
sudo xcodebuild -license accept
And that didn't work. I don't understand why Apple is blocking upgrades, how that benefits them, and how that is allowed.
I upgraded to Tahoe the day it came out, and Messages still shows "More results will be shown once Messages finishes indexing." Should I expect it to be finished before the end of the month? I really need to find something in my messages before then.
I'm on 384 kbps DSL so I thought my slow connection might be slowing it down, but Activity Monitor shows Messages isn't using much bandwidth.
I hate how slow and sluggish Tahoe is. Safari is snappier on my 2011 Mac mini than my new MacBook Pro.
What? I've had an iPod since 2003 and have been building my library since then. This new update is terrible. Why trash our music libraries? The error message:
Any advice on how to fix this? I have over twenty years and 1,600 ripped CDs worth of music I can't play. The only songs I can play are the ones I bought through iTunes about fifteen years ago. Help!
