I created a nautilus-python extension that adds optional media-related columns to Nautilus list view:

  • Dimensions: images & videos
  • Duration: videos
  • FPS (framerate): videos

It uses Gnome's existing GStreamer + GdkPixbuf stack (no ffmpeg dependency), with a small on-disk cache to avoid re-probing large folders.

I created and tested on Nautilus 48, but suspect it'll work on 45+.

Both of these switches used in a home environment for a year or so, moved to a new house and bumped up to Enterprise 48 and Enterprise 8 switches.

I'm willing to meet for local pickup to avoid shipping costs if buyer desires; located in Colorado Springs, CO.

USW-Enterprise-24-PoE: $600

USW-Flex-XG: $200

Update 2022/5/9 @ 14:15 MT: Local sale pending for both switches, will update again if falls through by end of week.

At the risk of ruffling feathers by providing my unimportant thoughts here, I wanted to voice my opinion somewhere since the issue was locked on Github.

I read through this locked Github issue regarding this matter and while I understand the technical reasoning behind the change, I have to say that I agree with the submitter, Zeppman; the new arbitrary vlanXX deviceId allocation can be considered unintuitive from an end-users perspective.

First we create a new vlan; 1182 in this case.

Then we go to Interfaces > Assignments to create a new interface using th

I'm experiencing screen tearing with X on my Dell Latitude 5520 with Iris Xe graphics. Pretty sure that tearing isn't an issue in Wayland, but I don't use it for a few irrelevant reasons, namely the context menu issue and various other odd window behaviors with my multi-display setup.

Short video clip showing tearing here: https://i.imgur.com/BY6SfEb.mp4

I wanted a way to print a CDP brief on NXOS switches to list each neighbor's local interface, neighbor interface, hostname, and IP addresses (mgmt or otherwise).

Requires python on box; tested with N7710 running 8.3.2 and N950(4|8) running 7.0(3)I7(6).

Github: https://github.com/derek-shnosh/network-code/tree/master/python

Ninj-edit: Supports multiple neighbors per interface for situations where dumb-switches are forwarding CDP information blindly.
