I'm looking for a scale that can help me measure the amount of fluids I'm giving, and I can't seem to find any that measure in grams. I've seen them mentioned in this sub but I haven't seen any links. I tried purchasing a fish scale on amazon that measured in .01 of kg, but it didn't seem accurate enough for my use case (it never went up from zero and then would just turn off). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all. I've been considering a DIY build mattress for a while to replace my sagging ~5 year old purple mattress.

The customizability and ability to replace parts is why I'm interested in doing this route.

I'm 5'9 and 148 lbs. I rotate basically all sleep positions, but I suspect this is partially because my current mattress sags uncomfortably. I think ideally I'd stick to back and side sleeping, but both are kinda painful currently. I also have lower back pain caused by degenerative disc disease, so having quality, long lasting support is very important to me.

I'd love to try to recreate a pillow top type setup. I found this wool topper that seems to check all the boxes, and I suspect w

It's an unfortunate fact that I stay way more hydrated when drinking spring water. I've tried to be content with tap or home filtered, but I just don't enjoy drinking it so I don't stay as hydrated. There's large amounts of chloramine and other additives in the tap water in my area, so filters are rendered ineffective fast and I can taste it way before the filter is supposed to be changed. But I do struggle with the environmental impact. Currently, I'm getting 5 gallon jugs delivered from a local source. Any thoughts on the most sustainable way to drink spring water? Or, other ways of having access to great tasting water for a picky drinker?

I've been looking for a bedroom set for a few years, and started getting interested in vintage MCM furniture around 6 months ago. I found a Kent Coffey Perspecta dresser set including a high boy and low boy 1.5 hours away from me. From the pictures I LOVE the set, and it's exactly what I'm looking for. It was listed for $3800, and I offered $3k. Now I'm getting cold feet from the price. I realize that prices are pretty inflated right now to begin with and I realize that I am in an expensive area (Washington DC) so prices are even more inflated. I think I got numb to the price inflation, since I've been keeping an eye out at antique stores and online for a while now. I obviously would love to

I really like the support of a spring mattress with the softness of a pillow top, but my concerns are about the wear. It seems like a replaceable topper would be a good route, and I'm wondering if anyone else has done this or has advice about it. My inclination is to get a cheap-ish pocket-spring coil mattress, and get maybe a $100 latex topper and see how it goes. Any advice/info is appreciated.

I currently have a purple mattress, and I am looking for a new bed frame that is sturdy. I find the mattress to be the most comfortable when placed on the floor. I'm looking for something minimalist, with no headboard, but that serves the purpose of allowing airflow below the mattress. My assumption is that larger slats would better mimic being on a floor, which makes me think that an all-metal frame like the zinus smartbase would not work. The floyd frame seems like it would work well, but it also seems like it wouldn't allow much airflow. A Japanese style frame like this [https://www.getlaidbeds.com/wood-beds/low-bed-frames/low-modern-attic-wood-bed-frame](https://www.getlaidbeds.com/wood-
