We've been thinking of moving towards the hills without being too far up the mountain. Previously we've been looking at areas like UFG or Upwey.

Yesterday we saw a lovely place in Ferny Creek, on Mt. Erin Road, very close to One Tree Hill. It is on a very flat piece of land, with really no slope to speak of.

Wanted to get some thoughts from those who are familiar with the area.

I've read some previous threads on the subreddit about Ferny Creek being notoriously wet and damp, about the major storms that have happened in recent years, and the constant bushfire risk.

Does anyone have thoughts of this specific part of Ferny Creek, close to One Tree Hill? For what its worth, when we vis

Our 9 week old LO has always hated being held in the cradle hold. He used to like being over the shoulder, but over the last few weeks, he doesn't even seem to like that very much. The only way he likes being held is facing forward. He leans his head against my chest while looking out and I hold him by his legs or bum. Something like this flex & hold position.

Is this normal? Especially when he's crying, the only way he'll settle is if I hold him like this and walk or rock. I don't mind holding him this way, but it is a little disappointing that I don't get to make eye contact with him this way.

Are there other newborns who don't

We're thinking of going with this name for an Indian-origin boy living in Australia.

What do people think? The pronunciation would be like Liam with an N, but are people more likely to think that it's pronounced Nigh-am?

Keen to get general opinions on the name too as it's not very common, so we're a lil apprehensive about that.
