Government Schemes and Grants

First home buyers looking for a reality check on where we stand and what we should be doing to get bank-ready. I'm 42 (partner 40), so I know I'm late to the game. Keen to understand how that affects loan terms and borrowing power.

Me: $150k gross, permanent full-time, same role and employer for 4 years.

Partner: casual, ~$34k gross ($1,200/fortnight take home currently which is at it's lowest point due to losing some participants), same employer for over 12 months.

Savings/FHSS: ~$25k in FHSS currently, and have adjusted my salary sacrificing with aims to hit the $50k cap in about 18 months. No other significant savings yet but have just started to build a buffer alongside the FHSS con

I have a T46G which is just refusing to connect to the network. I've reset it back to factory settings, tried different ports on the switch, different ethernet cables, tried powering via POE and also using the power brick, tried manual IP configuration, cleaned the network port contacts with isopropyl alcohol and blown the dust out, tried booting into recovery mode and configuring a TFTP server to re-flash the firmware, but nothing. Everything i've tested has been with known-working items (using same port/cable as another working T46G etc etc).
I've even sniffed the network traffic and checked logs on the DHCP server, and it's not even sending out DHCP discovery packets or ARP requests or

Have a BTT Octopus 1.1 which 'was' running in my tevo black widow. Only installed it about a week ago replacing a burnt out skr1.4.
Compiled the firmware and calibrated it, had it running really nicely, have done about 10 or so prints and then starting a fresh print directly after another one and had a thermal runaway error.
Reset the printer, now i'm getting an ALL LOW error on all of the steppers. Bed circuit still heats, but hotend and steppers are no longer functioning (thermistor tested and working)
Have swapped the tmc2209 with known working ones from another printer and still the same.
Anyone had this before?
