I’ve had a perfectly fine Sonos setup with about 14 speakers. I have not updated to the new app at ALL. (Yes, my app is over a year old.)

Recently I thought of adding some new speakers to my house, including an old Connect s2, but apparently you can’t add a single (even super old) Sonos product without updating the app (and then also the firmware). This annoys me a lot.

My question to you is, is the system (now) largely functional again? I just want it to work. I don’t want everything to be crap.

The setup I have includes Era 100s, Ones, Roams (I love the form factor), and a tv with Sub Mini, Ones, and Beam gen2. Everything is on a single mesh network with dedicated IPs. All have truep

I feel like I understand the show very well and have rewatched s1/s2 many times. But I have this lingering feeling that there is some sloppiness in the plot that I can’t seem to shake here.

  1. Why did Noah have to kill all the kids? What was the point? Time travel was already invented when he went back, so what was the purpose of him building a time machine, especially one that did not work? (Yes, I know it worked once for Helge, but he could have brought Helge back in other ways.) Why not use a working time machine or build one properly?

I learned that my beloved (seriously beloved) 4Runner Limited (2001) has some pretty nasty frame rot. I loved everything about it, including its looks, its cabin, and its capaciousness. I did not like its gas mileage or its highway performance, obviously.

I'm suddenly in the market for a new car, considering leasing, and wanted to get this sub's take.

- I like having a car that's unusual and not boring to drive.

- Leasing seems like a way to get a better vehicle for less money, especially without having to pay for repairs.

- I like carrying stuff, but I cannot afford to buy a modern high-end SUV like my 4R Limited. Also, most non-luxury SUVs look like shit.

The water itself isn't especially bubbly to start with, but when boiled, even in very small amounts, we find that it boils over and froths all over the stovetop almost immediately. It continues boiling over for as long as it's on the stove: there's no end to it.

Water heater is brand new, pipes are in good shape.

Is this safe? What could cause this? Can anything be done? The water appears normal otherwise (visually), tastes ok, and is in a town with normal water quality as of recent municipal tests. I've just never seen anything like it.
