VA Disability Pulled?

VA Disability Claims :claim:

Hi there! I’m currently at 70% but rated at 100% unemployable. I’ve chosen to try and work part time because I just can’t get by on one income where I live. I’m very worried that I might go over the poverty threshold which is $16,500 for the year. I’m anxious that my VA disability may get pulled. Has anyone out there had that experience before? Thanks in advance!

100%, bankruptcy

VA Disability Claims :claim:

Hi, I am 100% unemployability. Which means I cannot work to bring in extra income even though the guidelines do say as long as it’s below poverty line. I just don’t wanna poke the bear. So I try to live within my limit of VA disability. Recently got divorced and was able to purchase a home. So many things went wrong with the home and now at the end of the month, there’s nothing left after bills are paid. I just don’t know what to do. Thinking that chapter 7 bankruptcy might be the only answer. Anyone out there with the samecircumstances?

Unemployability

Does anyone on this site have experience with anyone losing their 100% disability benefits by making money on unemployability status?

TDIU

TDIU Unemployability :no-job:

Hi there, I am currently at 70% but with unemployability, being paid at 100%. I just went through a divorce and lost my two dependence which brought my monthly benefit down quite a bit. I am thinking about a part-time job. One that can work with my disability, of course. I am very concerned, however that they will take away my benefits. Has anyone else had any experience with this? Thanks so much.

Back pay

VA Disability Claims :claim:

So I am rated at 70%. But they have determined me to be unemployable which pays me the hundred percent pay. That being said, I have a dental case that looks promising. As I posted before they put braces on me, broke my jaw and 10 years later, all of my teeth fell out, which is stated in my medical records. My question is, if I do get 10% for that, will I get backpay from when I first opened a claim on this which was almost 20 years ago?

Dental Claim

VA Disability Claims :claim:

Hi everyone! I was in the Air Force during desert storm. When the military offered to put braces on my teeth, I said yes. After the braces came off, they said that the braces had caused an under bite. So they said let’s break your jaw and reset it. so I said yes. I trusted them. 10 years later, I started losing all of my teeth and now I am forced to wear a full denture up top. It even states in my medical records that because of the procedure I might lose all of my teeth. Has anyone ever won a dental claim?

Living Hand to Mouth

TDIU Unemployability :no-job:

I hate to complain as I was judged to be unemployable and receive almost $4000 a month. My question is how does one live on $4000 a month with rent , utilities, gas, etc.? Rent for my area is $2000 for a one bedroom. And if I’m caught working, I lose all benefits. It’s living on the knifes edge! Anyone else experiencing this?
