In this time of deals I was considering getting a pair of home-use open back headphones to go with my focal bathys for wireless listening. I do use the bathys wired with USB-C at home so that would be my comparison for a potential upgrade.

I run my wired headset from a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface which I realize isn't ideal, but I'm down to get an amp as well. I'm also down to buy second hand.

Thanks all!

Hi all,

So, I have a fantastic/bordering godlike Carr Mercury V that I use for jazz/blues playing, but I've also rekindled my metal guitar lately and wanted to see what I could do to push the Carr into that overdriven range (I almost get there using the attenuator and my 8-string, but it needs a little bit more juice for maximal evil)?

The second question is, I wanted to jam with a drummer I met that has a bass cab/head at his place -- rather than schlepping my own gear out there for jam sessions, I was hoping there's some neat amp sim-thing I could hook straight up to the setup that's already there. Back in the day, I had an O.G. Line6 POD that I plugged straight to the line in on a bas

Yngwie Malmsteen - Fire and ICe

It's been 20 years since I first tried playing this thing -- finally today, I got a good take. fully dissociated on the arpeggios, I don't think there's any other way to really do it. a masterpiece of shred guitar IMHO. Neural DSP Nolly for the guitar. this one goes out to my shred familia!
