A long time ago, I took some first-year journalism units at University.

The basics of writing an article were that the most important stuff came first, starting with a headline that converys as much of the key facts of a story as possible.

However, so many news organisations nowdays write headlines that do the exact opposite. Either they are intentionally vague so you have to click on the article to find out who is even involved (eg: AFL legend says that...) OR deliberately misleading to make readers think something much more drastic is happening.

This is rife in sports and entertainment media, but definitely exists all over when it comes to online content.

My question is: does this filt

I've been pretty disengaged with news over the trade period. Just been picking up on teh stories at the end of the day so it didn't derail my working day as it has in the past.

But I noticed last night there is nothing about Fantasia on our socials or website.

The articles came out 5 days ago. Any reason for the delay? Or is that normal?

As a Carlton supporter I'm finding there are a lot of subtleties of playing finals that I don't understand.

Based on 2016 it seems the back end of the draft round is based of final results as the Bulldogs had the last non priority pick in round 1.

So does it go by finals results and then when two teams can't be split revert to ladder position? (ie: prelim losers, semi losers, elimination losers)

Still mentally prepared for a repeat of last year, because that's just what Collingwood does.

But I must admit I was pretty worried that we were just not going to measure up at all tonight, so I'm pretty happy right now.

Say you were putting together a local footy team and you had someone who had never played before. What would be the best position/role to give them that would minimise exposing their lack of experience.

Assuming relative fitness. Average height (or maybe a bit above average)

Just doing a rewatch, and it seems to be fairly convenient from a plot point of view.

Stringer just randomly decides to parlay, because apparently, he empathizes with what was done to Brandon:

Stringer: So if y'all got the mind to go after him, I might be able to point you in that direction.

Omar: Why?

**Stringer:**What happened to your boy was business. But how that shit happened, you got the right to take that to heart.

Obviously he is also talking about it making them even, and getting Omar off Barksdale stashes but it still seems a fairly unsubtle play from Stringer, and there is no logical reason for Mouzone to have been there seeing as the Barksdale crew wer

Have been fermenting on-and-off for 5 years a so and have never had a problem with anything I've made.

All of a sudden though my last two batches of saurkraut have been quickly overtaken by what looks like kahm yeast (but there also looked like some possible suspect bits of white mold)

I have chucked out both batches because my toddler eats it and I don't want to risk it, plus it has also gone a much softer texture than my sauerkraut usually is, and I just generally find it unpleasant.

I have been using a stoneware crock and when I noticed the last batch had gone bad I noticed a very fine crack in it. I'm not sure how long it has been there, but does this track?

I assume it means a lot

I'm in LA this weekend and I wouldn't mind still catching the Carlton Hawthorn game. Internet is not turning up much.

Not sure exactly where I'm staying yet so I'm open to options from all over.

Is there any reliable options or am I better just going for streaming?
