Looking at going to Mexico later this year with my wife and having trouble deciding which resort to stay at. Would like solid food (For an all inclusive anyways), a nice pool and swim out rooms. Would like to stay around 1500/person for 4 nights with flights.

Both of these seem to fit the bill but would like some opinions from folks with experience at either or both.

We have been to a couple AIs before but still consider myself an AI rookie so to speak.

Also, smoking...Heard there was a smoking ban put in place last year in Mexico. Anyone have insight into either of these resorts and smoking? I do tend to like to have a cigar out in the swim up/terrace area of my room and if the
