Decided to try clan Skryre and am having a blast so far, but one issue I’m having as I push north into Brettonia is I’m having a hard time not just autoresolving walled settlements.

When I approached the first one my plan was basically to have the gun rats blast the man-things off the walls, take the wall and sit up there and shoot them, but apparently the guns are too bulky and they can’t climb the ladders.

Okay then, so I send my clanrats (with shields) to take the wall and they struggle HARD against the melee Brettonians unsupported. I reloaded and tried again after making a battering ram but the rats on it melt under any sort of missile fire.

Saladin was apparently so concerned about Frederick showing up that he diverted forces from the Siege of Acre to try and stop him, but his death caused much of his army to desert the crusade and disease caused it to wither further until roughly a third of it remained.

But what if instead Barbarossa didn’t drown and managed to enter the Holy Land with his army intact? Do you think his presence would help the crusade do better or would Saladin still win in the end?

Up until fairly modern times it was unusual or even unthinkable that an army would operate during the winter months in Europe, Asia and America, but it seem sometime during the World Wars era this practice largely stopped in favor of armies operating year round despite the winter clearly still being a major obstacle, especially in WW2 and the Korean War.

Is it just a question of technology getting better or is there something else to it?

I played for the first time in a while today and didn’t have any third party stuff open at all. I was just playing the game normally when I got kicked out of the server and got a message that I was globally banned for cheating.

I have no idea what I was doing to trigger the anti-cheat, I wasn’t even playing that well.

I filed an appeal to get unbanned but I don’t even know how to prove I didn’t cheat when I don’t know what they think I did.

Other conversations I saw regarding this online don’t give me a lot of hope of being unbanned. Am I likely just SOL?

Basically the title, I’ve noticed that when pirates from this time period are portrayed they tend to either not address the subject of the slave trade or portray the pirates as opposed to the slave trade and refuse to participate in carrying slaves as cargo, even at times going so far as to free slaves they come across while pirating.

Is this a truthful representation or part of modern day romanticism to make pirate protagonists of movies and video games look better than they realistically would be?

just got a voicemail on my personal cell phone from a number saying they were trying to schedule delivery of legal documents to a person I do not know. I called back the number they provided to let them know that they had the wrong number, the voice I was talking to sounded kind of robotic so I’m pretty sure it was an AI.

They said they would take note that they had the incorrect number, should I be worried about having more of my information tied to whatever this matter is?

I just want to do the quest, why does the game need to tell me to piss off for another week?

It’s not like the campaign quest gives any super coveted reward so what’s the difference if I finish it now getting lucky with premades or do story mode?

I’m sure my guild will take a crack at it eventually but there are also two other raids out that people will want to throw themselves at.

I feel kind of like I missed something. We come to the Haranir and they basically refuse to help us other than one elder who seems a bit ostracized from the others, we leave with seemingly nothing changed other than learning about the alndust, but once the bad guy reveals himself suddenly a bunch of Haranir come up to help push back the Lightbloom.

Did they come in defiance of the other elders?

I don’t even know what they do when they spread to all of the settlements they need but I get the implication it’s really bad for the player, and they are ridiculously expensive to get rid of.

I ditched a Teclis campaign because the Tzeench cult kept spreading to all my settlements early on and I just couldn’t seem to muster up the economy to start getting rid of them. Now I just try to turn them off when I remember to.

I’ve seen some posts and comments saying that plushies are shipping or have arrived already but I haven’t heard a peep from Geek Jack since I made the order. I sent them an email a little bit ago asking if there was any update but they haven’t responded.

Both the Alliance and Horde land in the zone and establish bases there and immediately start fighting one another with no real repercussions when they previously fought each other in the Jade Forest it resulted in the Sha appearing and destroying the Jade Dragon statue under construction.

Is there an explanation for this or did the writers just want them fighting without the Sha appearing for the sake of it?

I was playing my first campaign in grand campaign because immortal empires was locked off, had campaign set to easy and battles set to normal. Picked Tyrian’s faction because the game recommended it as a first campaign but kind of became frustrated and am thinking about starting over.

For the most part I was doing ok but I noticed that even in battles I won my victories managed to be rather pyrrhic and I would lose multiple stacks of units, I tried to compensate for this by having quite a few large armies of mostly silverin guards and archers with a couple of stacks of pikemen an

They don’t really seem to be that active during the events of Cata. When they do show up it’s usually in the form of the Reliquary.

I get why they wouldn’t be included in the Shamanistic stuff going on but they also seem pretty underutilized in the Alliance v Horde fighting going on during this time too.

Would there be any significant succession crisis in the Ottoman Empire or would his successor just launch another invasion of Wallachia?
