We are going to Universal next month for 5 days (2 adults) and I’m seeing that the parks are set to close at 5:00 or 6:00. What do you recommend doing after they close? We are staying at Aventura. I’m definitely excited to check out City Walk and the rooftop bar but are they good for 4 nights in a row?

I know there are plenty of good debt tracking apps, but does anyone use one with a Home Screen widget? I just paid off a Discover credit card and I loved having the progress on my Home Screen as a reminder and motivator.

Since my son was born I have always had delayed reactions to everything. As a newborn, if he was about to roll off the couch, I didn’t catch him until the last second. Now that he’s a toddler, if he’s about to get hurt, my first thought is “let’s see what happens” not, “I need to grab him.” Today, we were at a restaurant with a large party and another drunk patron started yelling at the person sitting next to my son. I just sat there instead of pulling my son out of the way, and I am just torn up about it. Would I have grabbed him in time if it had turned into a fight? I don’t know. And of course we were there with 25 people we know, so I’m embarrassed on top of it. I just don’t think I got

A wave hit me while I was swimming in Myrtle Beach yesterday, and with it was a small (about 1/4 inch long) brown spike that got lodged in my chest. It felt like a bee sting. I pulled it out and it was kind of barbed. Today, there is a red mark around the sting about 4 inches in diameter and it itches. Just curious what it could be? I looked up pictures of anemone and urchin spikes and those are way too big.

We’re going to a pool with our 5 month old for the first time, and I’m just not sure how swim diapers work. Is it redundant if I put him in a disposable Little Swimmers diaper with a reusable diaper from Target on top? Or is that the norm?

If we only use the reusable, should I bring multiple or rinse it out as needed? Sorry if that’s a crazy question but I’m very unfamiliar with reusable anything.

Once he’s out of the pool, can I leave him in this getup or is it best to change to a regular diaper/outfit at that point? This is for getting into/out of the pool repeatedly, of course once we’re done-done I’ll just change his clothes.

My baby is 5 months old. We have supplemented with formula from the start because he was a NICU baby and we didn’t know any better, and as a result I’ve never had a great supply. I also work full time so he gets bottles all day and I’m really only able to nurse in the morning, evening, and on weekends.

Up to about a month ago he had no problem nursing during those times, but now he only wants to nurse in the morning. Our pediatrician said it may be because he’s distracted or it’s taking too long compared to a bottle, so I’ve tried different rooms, locations, lights off, etc. but I get the same result. As for him being frustrated with the speed, he turns away and cries if I even face him to

Just venting here.

We have a son who is 14, and then a 2 month old. The 14 year old plays travel baseball so, for years, we have been big baseball parents. Especially now that he’s older and it’s more expensive, tournaments are the only vacations we get in the summer. Before baby, we spent time at the games hanging out with other parents, commiserating over bad weather and going out for dinner/drinks in the evenings. My husband was a coach up until this year, so we were always heavily involved in everything (knew everyone, managed team dinners and gifts, etc.).

When we found out I was pregnant, we were fully committed to taking baby to every tournament so I wouldn’t have to miss anything

Whenever I nurse my 1 month old, he seems to have a good latch and be actively sucking/swallowing, but no matter how long he’s on there he’s never full. For example, this evening he nursed on one side for about 40 minutes, then fell asleep for about 10 minutes. When he woke up I offered the other breast but he didn’t open his mouth or seem interested so I thought he was all done and started getting him ready for bed. Maybe 5 minutes later he started giving all his hunger cues but again wasn’t interested in a breast so he ended up having 4 oz of pumped milk out of a bottle before falling asleep. At this point I don’t even count nursing as a feeding session, more of a comfort/bonding thing bet

I do not have a printer of any kind, and someone asked me to make stickers. I have sticker paper already (received with the Cricut as a gift and never used) so I printed some test images off at work and brought the sheets home to try to cut them out. I want them to be exact, so using my phone and manually making the shapes in Design Space isn’t working out. My question is, is what I’m trying to accomplish even possible? Or do I absolutely need a printer to make printed stickers?
