Forgive me if this isn't the right place to post this but I'm sorta frazzled at the moment due to troubleshooting woes.

Preamble to the question to lay the ground work-

I just got today a JZW-Shop Gamecube controller adapter along with a Fiotok brand Gamecube controller.

I read the instructions of the adapter, plugged in both cables to my usb ports after setting it to PC on the adapter and it began to spazz out.

Constant connect and disconnect messages popping up from steam.

Eventually causing ALL of the USB ports to cease accepting any kind of input. Outside of

Early last month Upworks decided out of the blue that my tax paperwork is for some reason invalid (this is despite the fact that nothing has changed, and my paperwork is in fact filed correctly). It has a red alert box at the top of the pay withdrawal window, it says to submit updated forms and it'll be handled in 5 business days. It has not been handled in five business days.

It has been going on over a month at this point and support is all but nonexistant. Is there any number one can call that will put me in contact with a flesh and blood human instead of these god forsaken bots that are worthless and do nothing but give the run around?

My employer has also attempted to reach out and fi

Platform(s): PC I think its shareware at this point, it was pretty old back when I played it a decade ago.

Genre: Strategy. It is an RTS but everything happens in turns which are taken automatically at set intervals

Estimated year of release: If I had to spitball a guess it'd be early 2000s based off the graphics and it being compatible for windows XP and 98

Graphics/art style: Pretty basic, like 8bit scifi not as fancy as Starcraft 1 but not Starcastle bad.

Notable gameplay mechanics: You fought in space on a square based grid system on a rather large map. You started with a planet that acted as your main capital and you could go out and capture more planets. Each pl

I've been interested in the game for a while now and my backlog has depleted enough to warrant buying new fodder for the library. So I'm interested to know if Gunfire Reborn and its DLCs will be going on sale during the Steam Shmup Fest that runs from September 25 - October 2. Or am I just doomed to wait till the next holiday sale? As I assume I probably won't be seeing it for sale during the Strategy Fest that's starting up soon.

I know this isn't exactly a new topic or anything but Valve really needs to change how it handles moved/deleted topics in your notifications. Just telling the user something was moved, or more likely just deleted, is not at all helpful.

It'd be nice if the comment notification page kept the name of the thread but was struck through or something indicating it was deleted or removed as opposed to some generic message that leaves me wondering which of the myriad of discussions I was participating in was nuked by some overzealous mod.

Torn City Online is a fairly fun text based browser MMO. Where you go around committing crimes, fighting players, and overall having a fair bit of freedom in doing whatever you want. From being a drug runner shuttling drugs from different parts of the world to Torn or you can try and strike it rich in the casino or try and become a market dominator and get rich through other peoples' hard work, you can even forsake the NPC companies and run your own operated by other players for larger profits.

Overall the game allows for both a fairly lax play style where you can check in every hour or so to poke it and watch meters rise or you can take a far more active role and be a part of the community
