Changing to a different type of grass?

Southern US & Central America (or warm season)

Zone 10b, Southern California

This is our second year in this house and our backyard is currently TTTF, about 4500 sq ft. During Fall-mid Spring, it looks great and I'm extremely happy with it, but as soon temps start to hit high 80's/early 90's, theres a large portion of grass that dies in the direct sunlight. Irrigation coverage is good, and I try to water more frequently during the hot months, but the grass dies extremely quick. I've tried providing fertilizer in mid to late Spring to prepare for the heat stress, but no dice. The only thing I haven't tried is committing to the longer and more infrequent 5am watering to try and encourage deeper root growth.

(Zone 7a) Is 10-0-20 too harsh in the heat?

Southern US & Central America (or warm season)

So my lawn is tall fescue. In early March I overseeded the entire lawn. The main reason I overseeded was to try to combat a big patch of dirt about 10 x 12‘. The rest of the lawn looked fine otherwise. The big patch has improved but still not perfect with some areas with no growth at all, so I was hoping to throw down some more seed this weekend. However, starting next week it’s gonna be in the high 80s for a few days and then cooling off again. I was planning on overseeding again this weekend and putting down 10-0-20 fertilizer, but I’m afraid of burning the lawn. From what I’ve read, I should be OK as long as temps don’t get over 90 but figured to ask here as well. Thank you!

Pic of my backyard

Not sure how to approach this project for my backyard. I was originally going to get something like this and plant the 4 speakers in each of the corners along the red line. I know I will probably need some sort of amp as well. The red circle is our bbq area where there are electrical outlets. The yard is about 100x80 feet. Open to all suggestions! Thanks y'all. Budget is around $500-$1000
