Antimatter Dimensions always had the reputation of the game where following a guide is a must. And indeed, achievements are tricky, challenges are confusing and don't even get me started on Time Studies, they became a meme on their own.

A few months ago I decided to take on the HARDEST CHALLENGE EVER: Beating AD without using any guide, asking for help or finding information in any way outside of the game itself. (Full disclosure: I actually played AD exactly 4 years ago in 2019, but forgot everything apart from the basic concepts)

It took me roughly 2 months to complete it (1 month pre-Reality and 1 month post Reality) and I think it was one of the

Just looking for a simple tool to periodically(once an hour?) export/backup chat history of all chats (Ideally with images). So in case chat/message/image gets unintentionally (or intentionally) deleted I will always have it in a local backup.

Tried searching the internet but was surprised not to find anything of this sort. The task itself is not hard - use API to get the list of chats, get chat history, merge history JSON locally, I can probably put something like this this together in a few hours.

But surely I am not the only one that wants to have consistent chat backups and a project like this already exists and I just can't find it?

After reading a rather disappointing list of "best Idle Games as of 2022" and complaint from u/cardboardempress that iOS users are not getting enough love on this sub I decided to put together my own list of games that are worth playing. The same way as the previous post the list focuses on iOS games only. My sincere apologies for Android, Web and PC users, I may come up with a list dedicated to you in the not so distant future.

I decided against creating yet another "TOP10 games of all times" list because it's extremely subjective. All players are different and we love different things in incremental games.

Instead I picked a game from each category, trying to balance genres and differe

This post is mainly to show developers that even if your game has very complex gameplay and mechanics it is still possible to make it easy to use and understand for the player.

The latest update to NGU idle added the Stat Breakdown page and I was amazed how simple, straight-forward and useful this page is.

Have a look: NGU Idle Stat Breakdown page

  • It shows which stats are multiplicative and which stats are additive
  • It shows the value of each stat and allows you to see which stat has the highest potential
  • It shows the totals! It's crazy, but in most games there is no way to do that!
  • Each stat has it's own page making it easy to navigate

Hi r/windingclockdev

Thanks for your hard work in creating this amazing game. I personally think it's the best idle game of 2017, it's complexity and depth is impressive and I spent many enjoyable days playing.

As a fellow developer I know how important user feedback is and how hard it is to get one, so I decided to approach it thoroughly and mention most of the things I think can be improved.

Sorry, there is a long read below and it's less structured than I would like it be.

Suggestions are in written in italic, don't take them too seriously, that's just one of many options how it can be improved.

1. Loot:

  • Treasure find stat is pointless - on items, from Luck and Charm. I do

I'm having a weird issue with my s7 edge phone. It's an original UK sim-free phone, not carrier-locked.

So I upgrade it to the latest version. I root it with CF-Auto-Root. Everything works great for few days. Than (apparently) device connects to the internet, downloads an update of something and SuperSU stops working with 'There is no SU binary installed' error.

Rooting it again does not work - no error messages in the process, but su binary is still missing. You have to do full factory reset, after which it works for roughly two days. The only root software I have installed right now is AFWall+. Which should not cause any issues. So the questions are:

  • Is there any alternative way to ro

I played the game a little bit(reached level 700 or so) and all the time I played it felt like walking in the dark. Everything is counterintuitive and works the way you don't expect it to work.

For example I still don't understand what skills do. Any kind of description is missing. What the hell is cocktail and what does it do exactly? What's the point of muffin in the box? I played similar games and skill description was always informative and clear - 40 clicks per second, 10% crit chance, 150% crit damage, etc. You know what you get and it feels rewarding. Skills in BH don't feel rewarding at all. In a matter of fact I barely use them.

Stats. First of all stats page is hidden too far awa

While troubleshooting poor browser performance and high disk usage on my PC I found ~30 000 files in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profilename\cache2\entries\ folder. The files, roughly 500 bytes in size each contained responses from the lostidles server.

It might not sound like a lot to some, but keep in mind that firefox keeps this huge cache database in its memory and goes through it on every internet request you do. And this data is completely useless.

For the developers: Set response headers in post.php to the following to solve this issue:

header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, max-age=0");

For users: Clear your browser cache (just files, not

So... I started playing the game and after a short while I noticed a strange thing - all my gameplay consists of literally 3 things:

  • Buying all heroes and their upgrades in the first 2 minutes after reset

  • 30 minutes of clicking Lurch

  • Pressing "i" twice and clicking on "Go infinite" button.

So I decided to automate it with Autohotkey script and was surprised to see how small and simple the script was.

loop {
; buying all heroes
loop 4000 {
	PixelSearch, Px, Py, 9, 197, 387, 785, 0x0AB3FB , 5, Fast
	if !ErrorLevel
		MouseClick, left, Px, Py
	sleep 50
}
; Clicking Lurch for 30 minutes, feel free to add more heroes to the list

	mouseclick, left, 58, 588
