Hi everyone! My partner and I are so excited to finally be making our first trip to Japan this October (Oct 22 – Nov 6, 15 nights). Our flights and hotels are booked and most of the itinerary is mapped out, but before we lock in the last few reservations we'd really appreciate any feedback from the Reddit braintrust.

We're into transit, photography, food, history, shopping/vintage & thrifting, I could go on. Since it's our first time, we're trying to strike a balance between hitting the classic touristy spots (the temples, the crossings, the theme parks etc.) and leaving room to stumble into places along the way. We are both quite type A, so you will see a fair bit of detail below.
