My Green Card expires early next year. Due to financial constraints I have been unable to submit the paperwork to apply for naturalization until now (well, next month). Today I checked the processing time for naturalization petitions to be processed at my local USCIS branch and the processing time falls after my green card is set to expire. This leaves me with a few questions:

  1. If a naturalization petition has been submitted but has not been processed, would I lose my right to reside and work in the US after my Green Card expires or would the pending naturalization petition provide a temporary work and residency status until my naturalization petition is processed?

  2. Would it be better

So I purchased an Apple TV 4K and it had 11.1 when I first plugged it in. Sometime between me side loading LiberTV and playing around with some app store games, the box automatically updated. I learned later that you still have to sign apps every 7 days anyway, which is less than ideal, to say the least. I’m now considering a developer membership. However, if the only reason for me to buy a dev membership is to be able to sign Kodi for a year, i’m not sold. What else is out there for the Apple TV that can be self signed and provide cool functionality? How about emulators? I’m not interested in the ability to pirate apps already on the store, if I want those i’ll buy them. Is there anything o

I know there have been posts about tipping being added to Amazon fresh orders quietly. I noticed it too, but also noticed all the news stories about how shabby Amazon can be towards their logistics side and was never bothered. However, I just placed a Fresh order as of about 15 minutes ago and no tip was automatically added. Additionally, no space for a tip was available either. Has something changed regarding tipping policy for Fresh deliveries? It seems to have disappeared as quietly as it showed up!

So with these enails... can I get something that heats a toro grail or regular quartz banger up to a desired temp and hit it or would it only be possible to use an enail with the specifically designed quartz or titanium bangers these things seem to come with.

Sorry for the basic question, I just genuinely wonder as I may stick to butane if I can’t use it with normal quartz :/

Hey everyone!

I apologize in advance if this is not the right subreddit for this sort of question (I read the sidebar but it wasn’t clear). On to my main question, though...

How difficult is it to transition from an upper level consumer support role (i’m who you get transferred to when you ask for a supervisor) to something in the real world? I’ve been at this for two years now and i’m good at what I do. I also have a lot of broad IT knowledge more generally (I feel this helps my performance).

What I don’t have, however, are certs. Just job experience (mostly fruit but I am intimately familiar with Windows too, just rusty, but I get back into the swing of things quickly) and a very solid

So, I saw a psychiatrist and I felt like we clicked, and I spoke with her about my lifelong anxiety issues, which have worsened as of late. We scheduled a follow up appointment and discussed things in more detail, met with a therapist whom i'll be meeting for the first time tomorrow...

She confirmed my ADHD diagnosis (obvious to all) and also told me that I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. She asked whether I wanted to try medication, and I said yes, so she started me on the lowest Zoloft dose (25mg). I'm 24 and she told me of the black box warning regarding SSRIs in people as old as me, and of the gastrointestinal stuff.

Sorry for the long intro. To get to the point of my post, I feel Z

I'm not sure whether or not this is the place to hock Apple products but there didn't seem to be any rule against it, so i'm crossposting the iMac I have for sale to here and the apple-focused subreddit.

I'm selling a late 2012 27" iMac, barely used. This machine is great, but I need money and I have to part with it. It's in great physical condition and will be shipped with a brand new install of Yosemite.

Here are the detailed specs:

2.9Ghz Intel Core i5

16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM

3TB Fusion Drive

Nvidia GeForce GTX660m 512MB

And of course, that lovely 2560-by-1440 resolution LED display.

I'm open to offers but this is cash only, and i'm open to dealing with someone locally if they happe

Here's an album with pictures of the machine

A few years ago I picked up an AT853 condenser microphone from a thrift store. It came with everything except for the ceiling hanger. I have yet to use it, and don't understand how everything is supposed to work.

The microphone is a tiny bit of cylindrical metal on the end of a minature SLR connection. This SLR connection attaches to a "power supply," which has a regular-sized SLR port. I want to hook this up to my computer and see what it can do. How would I go about this?

Can I just buy an SLR to 3.5mm cable and use it without much fussing? I've read that this could lead to terrible results due to lack of power, but the power supply would presumably amplify the signal, no? I'd be pluggin

I have a Netgear WNDR3700 right now running OpenWRT firmware, but the 2.4GHZ radio is broken and has been for some time. The 5GHZ radio works well enough. I'm looking to get something new and this time i'd like to find one that has good performance, is reliable, and i'd also like it to have good stock firmware or be compatible (able to load full-featured) with Tomato or OpenWRT (i'd prefer Tomato).

I want it to have 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ radios, i'm not super concerned about it being 802.11AC (future-proofing might be a good idea though) as I don't currently have any compatible devices. I don't want to buy a Belkin or a Linksys, unless Linksys has got their act together as of late, and my budget
