STECS MAX vs STECS mini plus + STEM module combination idea

So STECS MAX - looks like it is a combination of the STECS mini plus and the STEM module of the standard added in a vertical setup (319$)

So in theory the STECT mini plus (219$) + STECS STEM (50$) = 269$ and you get a STECS MAX without a vertical module holder?

Thoughts?
