First off I like the new-old-but-flipped delivery & pickup locations, the location of the urn-fight changing every time feels much better and stealing an urn out of enemy jungle is very fun is well.
The previous turn-in-rules meant the delivering team was heavily favored and they were basically just trying to prevent it from being stolen, the new turn-in rules do a much better job of ensuring the team that wins the urn-fight is the same team that gets the urn.
But that also means that you now do actually have to full-commit to the urn-fight, virtually guaranteeing that whatever team committed the most players to the fight gets the turn-in, where previously a quick skirmish and urn-
This might be a boss-baby on my end, but while Moba + Hero-shooter describes the broad strokes pretty well, the stamina-dashes, the wall-jumps, the perma-sliding and especially the developers' attitude when it comes to glitches vs hidden tech all read as extremely ultrakill to me.
It would be far from the first game to take influence from ultrakill, and it's exactly this influence that really sets the game apart from earlier moba-shooter hybrids like smite and paladins.
so it's weird it doesn't get mentioned more imo
Maybe I'm off-base here (haven't played *that* much yet)
but most people feel eminently killable rn except when they don't in which case they've heavily invested in green and their dps is kinda sad to compensate.
idk if there's much more to say here except round of applause for yoshi & co. 👏👏👏

There's a lot of items like juggernaut or hunter's aura that make getting an organic feeling for your firerate difficult. Now for most characters this doesn't matter since they're just holding down m1 and tracking anyway. But since Silver relies on placed shots this often leads to trying to shoot and just... nothing happening.
This feels awful, like my input got swallowed and now I'm scrounging to line-up a second shot that may-or-may-not come.
There is the lever-action animation, which is difficult to track in hectic fights to begin with but also locked to the
ALSO IN STREETBRAWL!!! You might not be able to counter-build in the traditional sense but knowing who did what still matters.
a lot of times when you jump into the enemy team it's just a mess of CC's and flashing lights your abilities are blanked out and then you're dead.
I don't know who's the problem, I don't know if I could have done anything differently, I'm not given the opportunity to learn.
So I think everyone is aware of how removing a scute swarm in response to the copy trigger going on the stack doesn't stop a new scute swarm token from appearing.
So why is it that removing my creature in response to the [[orvar, the all-form]] trigger does stop the copy ability too?
the scryfall rules notes section for orvar has this impressive piece of word-salad:
"As the first triggered ability tries to resolve, the spell that caused it to trigger and that spell’s targets are checked again. Ignore any target of the spell that has left the battlefield by that point. If all of the permanents you controlled that were targets have left the battlefield by that point, the triggered abil
Everyone is always raving about yhebdangers of polymorph but it's masters of exchange that end up ending most of my later-game runs.
But my next objectives are the tower and master of masters so no avoiding them now.
Like last run i had a homing-piercing light arrow with trigger exploding in each frame of contact, i was happily killing everything in sight untill suddenly in the middle of the usual lag-spike whenever it made contact i teleported over into the dark and lost my 1.4k health in the blink of an eye.
So what's the strat? Is there some way to shut these guys down? Is homing/piercing just a trap? Do you exclusively use payloads that are safe? At what point in a run do you stop
