I've said it before but the left is hellbent on losing all the cultural capital it gained. It won't expel the extremists and is too afraid to counteract vile ideas if they come from the mouths of those labelled as marginalised and oppressed.

And one of the biggest reveals (to the wider public anyway and to to me) is that the left only performatively denounces antisemitism as a means to attack the right, but deep down they see Jews collectively as just another group of "white people" and will quickly remove their status as victims of hate when they want to do the hating. It seems Kanye should have just waited a few months and he'd have a lot more people downplaying what he was saying.
