I feel like only fellow Canadians may be able to reply to my question, but any insight would help. I have been feeding my daughter Enfamil A+ since birth and she recently turned 6 months. This particular formula comes in 2 stages. The 1 being suitable for babies 0-12 months and the 2 for babies 6-18 months. The website explains that it has adjusted levels of calcium, iron and protein for the needs of a 6 month old +.

Has anyone here made the switch from 1 to 2 at 6 months or did anyone else feel it wasn’t necessary?

I hate that a parent of two kids with a new baby can say things like « oh we’re soaking it all in because we know this is the last time we’re doing this » out loud and people will think it’s adorable, but if I say this about my 5 month old daughter the automatic response I get is that I’ll probably change my mind. God forbid I would know what I want for my own life and family, right?

Why is it such an issue to let people decide what they can handle, especially when it comes to children (which is not a small task)? I just don’t get it.

Okay, rant over. Happy Monday everyone!
