The entire discussion about keeping 4 QBs seems to be centered around whether or not to keep Will Howard and/or whether he would be poached from the practice squad. Here's why that's a faulty premise:

There is no reason to keep Mason Rudolph on this roster.

First and most importantly, Rudolph is not a long-term answer at QB. We know this. He's a career backup QB, and that's fine. Allar and Howard, on the other hand, have at least a chance of developing into starting-caliber QBs. In a search for a franchise QB post-Aaron Rodgers, I would rather have two bites at that apple than one. Allar and Howard have more long term value than Rudolph. But the case for keeping Rudolph is for 2026. It bo

Methodology:

130 CBs qualified for this analysis with a minimum of 20 targets. Some players are listed as DBs on PFR, so I did my best to sort out which were primarily CBs vs Safeties. Though some players like Jalen Ramsey were included because he started the year as a CB before moving to S by midseason - I'm sure there are others that might have similar situations. Please shout them out in the comments if you see any players who are not primarily CBs.

Players were measured across 10 coverage statistics - shown below. For each statistic, players were ranked against their peers. If they led the league in that statistic, they were giv

I took part in a full offseason simulation and finally got around to putting a write-up together of my mock offseason. Negotiating trades, bidding for Free Agents, and drafting rookies to build your roster against 31 other GMs. Keep in mind that this discord league "split" from reality on the day after the Super Bowl. Any moves that happened in real life after that point were not applicable to the sim, unless the sim GMs opted to mirror reality.

My original plan was to retool the roster under Tomlin, but with the news of him stepping down I made the decision to pivot. I was given the option to hire McCarthy and his staff, but instead hired Rams DC Chris Shula. The sim also chose to treat A

One thing that's always difficult for me to research is special teams return men. It's not as simple as other positions because they're nearly all dual-purpose players. A player could be a great punt returner but a terrible WR or CB in which case they might only be a late round pick or UDFA. On the other hand you could have a guy projected to go in the first round who could return kicks but is only mid at doing so.

How would you rank the punt/kick returners in this class? Try to rank them in terms of their talent on special teams but then add a note about where you think they will get drafted, which might not be a linear 1st-to-7th round progression.

Obviously subject to change if/when Harbaugh is hired elsewhere. But the Steelers/Ravens iteration of this rivalry is has come to an end with Tomlin having a decisive lead over Harbaugh. They did finish 2-2 in the playoffs, however.

Amon Ra's comments on the end of the game.

"It is what it is, those are the rules. Can't change 'em. But it never comes down to one play. It's never just because of that play. There was plenty of plays throughout that game that we could have made. And we had calls go our way too throughout that last drive, so it goes both ways. We just have to execute better. We have a job to do. The refs have a job to do. So, we just gotta be better."

"But I mean, look, I think we had a PI on them. Jamo [Jameson Williams] did going down that drive, but I think we got a call, they got a call. If you don't get that PI on Jamo, that drive's over, some might say that. So at the end of the day, like I said,
