I've had a quest 2 for about 3 years and I've been using it exclusively with a link cable since I've got it, occasionally it disconnected but I blamed that on the link. But for the past week it's been disconnecting, sometimes quickly connecting and disconnecting, and it doesn't seem to be cause by link as the windows disconnect sound plays, if i disconnect and reconnect the cable it will disconnect within 5 minutes even if I don't touch anything. The cable seems to be fine, I've tried moving it, extending it, folding it and moving the connection points, I've also tried changing usb ports. I've already checked the power saving settings and they aren't unplugging anything, there are also other

I got biotech yesterday and was about to have the first child in my colony but when I try to open the event the menu looks like this and doesn't let me select who participates and where it happens, could a mod be causing this? I don't have any mods that depend on biotech and all of them are compatible for 1.5.
All the posts I could find were old and didn't seem to have the same issue as me
I was looking for a mod or multiple mods that add some futuristic, kinda op fusion engines, i've found sterling systems and blueshift but the engine options are still kinda limited, for example there are no air breathing engines
I was looking for an a easy pack for my 2 week minecraft phase that isn't too long or complicated and maybe linear in terms of it's progression
I was looking for wireless headphones with anc that I could carry around that didn't cost too much and i found these for around 75€ on amazon.
My only worry for these is that they might be annoying to carry as they don't come with a case and don't fold.
Looking for a wide 16:9 2K monitor, I don't want to go full ultrawide because it might impact performance too much for the heavy games I want to use it for (flight sims). The odissey g5 2024 model is 240€ right now but I was wondering if there is anything better for around the same price or it's the best option.
I was making a new pc and since i'm getting a 2k monitor I realized i could use it to substitute my old tv (I only use it for streaming from a firetv stick anyways). So I wanted a large monitor ~32in (size of tv) with a refresh rate =<144hz with a resolution of 1440p, with 2 or more input ports (As I said i'm pretty much only gonna plug a firetv in it so I don't really need an actual tv). How much more would a ultrawide be expensive? Would it impact performance? I was looking to spend around or less than 300€ (EU btw)(hope it's not unrealistic)(the cheaper the better). Slightly unrelated but is there a type of screen that is better than standard lcd but not as expensive as oled?
This has probably been asked but I had a question. I have most of my games on an external drive and there's a steamapps folder in that drive. When i plug it into the new computer will I need to do something specific for steam to recognise the games? Could the lack of documents folder break some games that used that folder? I have no way of transferring that file as the computer is broken and stuck in a repair shop so I can't even rip the old ssd from it.
Is the better raw performance and 4 additional gb of vram enough to beat the 4070 with dlss?

I tried drifting recently but i found it pretty much impossible, it feels like the moment the car starts sliding it starts spinning, i have no issues drifting in assetto
Making this post hoping it ends on google search results
It seems to be related to vr as the game tries to launch in vr instead of flatscreen even when the headset is disconnected (not sure if just oculus, as it's always running) so disabling tools like openxr toolkit and force closing the oculus apps fixed the issue for me
I really like planes with strange designs like the adam a500, long ez and piaggio avanti, so are there any unusual planes for msfs that are well done?
First time i get this issue where basically the game forces a value that overrides anything, even if you die and make a new characther it keep forcing the old value before dying, godmode seems to do nothing
I've disabled every mod that impacts the medical system and this issue is still going
