Firstly, Thank you to everyone on this sub for all the advice, guidance, and insight. I probably wouldn't have passed if it wasn't for the resources and tips I learned from this community. I was able to pass this exam with about 3 weeks of studying.

One of the things that made studying uneasy for me was that I was unaware of how the PMI would grade me. I did the full-mock exam on SH and got 73% but I did not know if this was enough to pass the exam. The exam is not only graded in a different structure (People/Process/Business Environment), but each of those domains have a different weight and the actual results can be very different than what the 73% suggests. Canadian so this government shutdown thing is foreign to me.

I understand that for some reason the American government stops paying bills when the budget is not passed (I think this is pretty stupid but I digress). I was curious and googled to find out that the government still collects taxes during the shutdown.

My question is, should government be allowed to collect taxes during a shutdown? If they were no longer able to collect taxes, which side would it hurt more, and how?

Hi all,

I was wondering if I can make multiple batches of custard base, and freeze them into individual portions. When I want to make ice cream, I thaw a portion in the fridge and then throw it in the machine when it's thawed. I know that the eggs are emulsified in the cream, so will it split when thawing in the fridge?

Thanks

My wife and I had a baby a few months ago and we are planning for when we are both back to work next year. We are considering getting a live-in nanny if it makes financial sense. I was wondering that in the event that we terminate the nanny's employment, whether the nanny could just decide they don't want to move out and we get stuck with a squatting tenant.

Any advice is appreciated.

ASA friends. My wife and I are expecting our first baby boy. My family has a tradition to name all the boys ending with -an. We like the name Abdul Rahman and were thinking that we can call him Rahman for short. I then realized, that this is likely not permissible. Do you know if it's okay to use a shorter nickname like Rami (or whatever we come up with), or do we have to call him his complete name, Abdul Rahman every time?

Thanks!
