I was reading a lot of AI data centres that were planned to be built are now being scrapped due to the cost of AI. I think a lot of these were at the early stages of being built, or construction hasn't been started yet, but what if a large data centre, already built and operational, is deemed too costly to continue providing AI services for whatever reason. Can they realistically pivot into mining bitcoin due to a lot of the infrastructure already needed, being there?

What pisses me off is everyone posts their dumbass "guesses" of calories and macros in the database and there is no data validation or sanity checking but this new UI... I'm done. What is another app that isn't complete trash like this app?

So I'm thinking of buying an xtool S1 and everywhere I look for something to mitigate the odour/smoke it is either a very expensive proprietary model with custom filters that make you spend big bucks and/or an expensive unit that takes exhaust and filters it out into the workshop.

Is there not a system that takes the exhaust from an enclosed laser unit, filters it out and then has a hose to blow it out a window? I don't need a $300 dollar filter, just something that can take away ~80% of the smell/smoke. Cheers

Ever since I got this monitor I've seen these lines around text only when the black text is contrasted against a coloured background, typically gray. I've confirmed it isn't a browser issue and testing it against my 1080p second monitor doesn't reproduce the artifacting.

Has anyone seen this before and know what it is?

New to IPS panels and new monitors in general. Compared to my second monitor TN panel, my new monitor absolutely destroys it in every metric but I'm not sure if this banding means it's a dud. Mainly the two obvious ones in the centre of the screen and I think I just seen more incorrect greys near the darker region as well. Thoughts?

It's hard to think of how to even describe the game, I think the genre completely died (if you could call it a genre) but I remember there it was a thing back in the day since I remember playing more than one style of the game.

Game description: The closest game I could find is virtual villagers, although I haven't played that it seems very similar. You control cast-aways/villagers and improve things for the villagers. They may or may-not procreate and iirc there was a day counter. I think the overall theme of the game was to interact with these mysterious objects on the screen and when their puzzle was completed they'd do something beneficial like produce water for the village.

I'm looking for an app that counts cigarettes not smoked from value each day. Like if I smoked 5 a day and want to cut back to 2 it will count -3 and compound it over the days for a large number (hopefully) in the negative which would give me good statistics on how much money saved if i were to not of tried to cut back at all.

It's a pretty simple function and i could do it myself with a pen and paper but was just wondering if there was something easier out there that wasnt a typical app that just has a start button or counts single cigarettes. cheers.
