Hinge is at a NYE party with meta, I will not be getting a kiss at midnight, and I'm sad about that.

I was not invited (parallel poly, I've never met the meta), but I wouldn't have wanted to go anyway, parties aren't my thing. We had not talked about doing anything.

No one has done anything wrong here, and I'm not looking for advice. Just noting that I'm sad that I don't get to kiss my boyfriend to ring in the new year. Holidays are always a compromise.
