Hello everyone,

I am looking for a new versatile workhorse snare that could work for a more fat sound but also with a snappy tuning. The snares I have had so far have all been from a beginner range (Sonor Force, Pearl Export), so I am also looking for something with somewhat better build quality (bearing edges, throw-off, tuning lugs etc.).

Thanks in advance!

So here's my situation: I have my SPD-SX Pro connected to my PC via USB. On my PC, I have an Ableton session running, sending a MIDI-clock to my SPD and synching its tempo. I would now like to send that MIDI-clock to my bandmates' keyboard, using the MIDI Out jack from my SPD. Is there a way to do that?

Hello everyone, sorry that I have to add to the gazillion IEM-rig questions asked here every day. I am looking fit the entirety of my bands IEM rig into a comparatively small rack, and want to minimize the space used up by the splits. The splits that are easily available here in Germany are the likes of Art S8s, having 8 transformer isolated inputs per rack unit. I was wondering if it makes sense to ditch the transformer isolation and simply build a passive split myself by wiring up a bunch of y-cables, so I could possibly fit the 32 channels into two rack units. Do I have to worry about a passive split when working with phantom power? I have read conflicting opinions on the web, going from

Hallo zusammen,

I currently have the Airlift throne with the round cushion (specifically referred to as DW9100AL), but I would like to try out the T-shaped cushion (referred to as DW9120AL). Now, I reckon that the most of the 300-something Euro price here in Germany comes from the hydraulic stand. And since I the stands for both versions are identical (at least I think that's the case) I could probably save a good amount of money If I buy only the cushion.

It's not sold seperately as a spare part by DW directly, and all the other listings I have found just include another stand for the full price.

Are there other sources I could look at?

I have recorded a band with drums and two mic'd guitar amps in the same room and there is some crosstalk, so I would like to comp to the same takes for all of the drum mics as well as the amp mics, but when I try to do so, some of the tracks will have the wrong take lanes selected! For example, if I select take 3 on one of the tracks, most of the other tracks will follow correctly, but some others will just switch to a completely different take.

I have all of the tracks in the same folder with group editing on, I made sure that all clips have the exact same length, snap to zero crossing is off.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought FabFilters' Pro-Q 4 (not having owned Q 3 previously, this is my first FabFilter plug-in), and noticed one issue that I did not manage to fix until now; Whenever I use it on a mono channel, Pro-Q 4 appears to be somehow "duplicating" the output. I tested this by slotting another plugin behind the Q 4, which consistently showed me the input of that plugin to be 6 dB higher than the output of the Q 4. Also, it appers to only be filtering one of those audio streams. When I take a high-cut filter and do a sweep of the frequencies it will sound as if one of two identical signals is filtered, while another one remains untouched, not to mention that the RTA of the pl
