It was a grind, and required constantly remembering to use one every chance I could, but after a couple seasons of trying to get rid of these, I finally did it and got rid of all of Rainmaker "buffs".
Sorry to all of you struggling to get rid of your 100+ Rainmakers, but accomplishing these goals take dedication and perseverance. If you keep working at it you might be able to do it too!
Is there something more to this quest? I have gotten zero progress in a week since it has been available.
All it says is 'Defeat guardians. Bonus progress, yada, yada'. Seems pretty straightforward.
Is crucible bugged again with games not counting towards progress? I have played 3 games of momentum control, 2 of which did not count towards pinnacle progress and no crucible points awarded. Anyone else seeing this?
Just finished a match where we cleared the last enemy right as the other team spawned the primeval. We never got another wave of enemies to spawn before they killed the primeval. We even invaded and set them back and still never got another wave of enemies.

So I am planning to withdraw from an IRA for a house purchase and was curious about how other people have handled it. And I realize how expensive this is to take the 10% penalty and taxes when I am still earning but think GME play money and dream retirement property with plenty left in 401k and other IRAs after this.
Say I need $100,000 and assume the entirety of it is within the 24% federal tax bracket. I have to pay a 10% penalty, the 24% Federal tax and for me a 5.25% State tax. So I need to withdraw ~$166,000 total to get $100,000 after taxes, does that sound about right?
Do I have to pay that all as a lump sum when I withdraw, or can I pay it as quarterly payments? Or wait until I fil
Is Bungie really that hard up to try to pretend like more people play crucible? It's ridiculous that I have to play 5-6 matches to get "3 games completed"
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I have a pretty good size stack of some classic games on cds, most with boxes, maps, posters, etc. Everything from Gold Box EA stuff up to Doom 3. Obviously Ebay but wondering if there would be a better place. I am not trying to get top dollar, just trying to avoid tossing them in the bin.

Please, please, Bungie give us some sort of protection for pinnacle drops. Even a way to target armor or weapons for drops would be fantastic.
Last week, including Iron Banner, there were 17 pinnacle drops. I got 12 weapons and 5 chest pieces.
This week there were 13 pinnacle drops. I got 10 weapons, 2 chest pieces and 1 mark.
For all players, the RNG to try to get that last #/8 of a point is very frustrating. Getting powerful drops and prime engrams that players still have to waste resources on infusing just takes even more incentive away from playing until reset next week. With sunsetting, there isn't even any point in grinding for new rolls since 2/3 of what drops is either already sun
Anyone seen this?
Sitting at 1259 trying to get my 4th 1260 chest piece to drop and instead got a 1259 helmet.
The visionary who wrote the new "Run and hide behind cover and stay there" AI should be applauded.
I assume it is the same person of singular vision who made the barrier servitors hide directly behind whoever they are shielding or even better, on the other side of a wall.
It is refreshing to have to restart a lost sector simply because there is no way to get to the enemy, bravo.
It's nice that Bungle found a way to increase the difficulty without resorting to cheap and annoying gimmicks. Well Done!
