Whenever I have vehicle paths in a blueprint, I end up with red segments and an invalid path. In Satisfactory, for pipes and belts, you must stop the pipe or belt short of the limits of the blueprint, and then when you enable autoconnect, it adds a short pipe or belt segment to connect the two ends. By contrast, with train tracks, your train tracks should go all the way to the boundary of the blueprint.

With vehicle paths, it seems to work more like belts and pipes. You stop the vehicle path well inside the blueprint boundary, and then when you instantiate the blueprint on the map, it autoconnects routes as needed. Except, the short path segments that autoconnect adds, are systematically re

Hi guys,

I doubt anyone remembers, but I posted previously looking for low-poly meshes for making a 3d engine on the C64 because I believed that it was possible to do this much faster than what existed historically (fastest we ever got was like 3fps wireframe). I never found a sufficiently low poly mesh but...

I was right! Pick the octahedron, it spins at 20fps! You can also try the Quake 1 Zombie but at 151 vertices, 295 faces, that only goes 2fps and is hard to visually understand because of the low resolution and no texture mapping. If you wanted to mak

So a few hours ago, I had ~100$ credit with Anthropic. I had canceled my Max account because I didn't know if I was going to need it beyond what I had paid for. That was apparently a bad mistake. Now Anthropic has taken my 100$. As a wannabe trillion-dollar company, I'm not sure what the logic here is?

So what happened in, on 18 October I bought one year of Pro for 216$ but I liked it so much that I upgraded to Max on 12 November, which is monthly only, so but they were rational with my payment and considered that I approximately had paid for two months of Max. I don't have a screenshot, but the "Billing" screen said that November was paid for, and there was still almost 100$ for December.

Hi guys,

I asked a similar question in r/ChatGPTCoding before I was i knew about this subreddit but got no answer. What's the difference between Plus and Business plans in terms of quotas?

Thanks!

Edit: thanks u/Significant_Task393 to for providing the answer, from here: for codex quotas, business is the same as plus.

I'm a bit of a cheapskate so instead of subscribing to APIs, I've got subscriptions to Claude, Warp and I'm considering ChatGPT. Warp was nice, it let me try a lot of stuff for relatively cheap, and I discovered that I quite like what Warp calls "GPT5 High Reasoning." Unfortunately, I can't quite line up Warp's labels with what I see here. I am also somewhat skeptical that they're going to give me "Unlimited*" access to the same reasoning model I've got metered with Warp?

Can anyone clear up what the differences are between these plans, and the difference with what you get on API?

I've been using Claude 4.1 quite a bit for writing docstrings but it seems to burn through my usage credits pretty fast. I've also used GPT 5 high reasoning, and both give me pretty good results, but I haven't kept tabs on how much "usage" it burns through, comparatively.

Does it say anywhere how these different "usages" are calculated or if there's some sort of relative cost that is cheaper or more expensive for the various AI modes?

Hi,

I'm a software engineer and academic but I'm a novice with "AI agents". I've been using Warp, it's able to fix my docstrings and identify dead code. It makes mistakes that I have to fix afterwards, but it's helpful. It is able to do a wide array of behaviors without me having to teach it everything.

I'd like to make myself a "better Alexa", some sort of smart speaker where I'd go "Alice, play the Beatles", and it would open a browser and find it on youtube and play it. This is just for fun, not a product, and it doesn't need to be perfect or have amazing performance. I'd also love to use a local LLM. On the other hand, this is just a quick hobby and I don't want to start a huge softwar

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of Home Assistant but I'm not looking for a hobby or for my wife to divorce me because the fridge door refuses her voice command to open sesame; is HA for me?

I've got Amazon Alexa, every year it's less capable and has more advertisement. Only thing I use it for now is to turn on and off some light bulbs, and to set timers. I used to use it to play an occasional song, but we all know that's over.

I'm an academic now, and used to be a software engineer, so I'm proficient enough, but I'm not looking to do software engineering or system administration as a hobby. As of a few months ago, AI has started being actually useful to me, and it makes a lot of sense to me to be

Hi,

Nowadays, I'm an academic but I used to work for tech companies and I'm an experienced software developer. My programming skill level is high enough that, up until very recently, the programming AIs out there were not useful to me.

Recently, I tried again, what you guys might call a very rudimentary "vibe coding" interaction with ChatGPT. I was writing a Julia macro and I didn't quite know what had to be escaped so I sorted it out in a ChatGPT interaction, and that was very quick and efficient so now I'd like to use that more. I also got ChatGPT to fix my docstrings. By contrast, Gemini failed miserably.

Realistically, if I want whatever agent to give me real help (e.g. "find all my d
