I finally had a chance to catch up on this week’s episode, and I haven’t listened to The Layover yet, but I am honestly more baffled about the decisions not to go after all the points at the top of the map, than what happened with the rock.

Do you subscribe to a Hawkeye site that is behind a paywall? If so, which one. I am mostly looking for news and “insider information” regarding football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s wrestling.

I was subscribed to one, and it just ran out.

If you don’t subscribe to something like that, but feel like you get what I am looking for from a free source, what is it?

UCLA's Gabriela Jaquez, Lauren Betts, and Charlisse Leger-Walker joined their cheerleaders for a special halftime performance at the men's game. Which Hawkeye women should join the Iowa Spirit Squads for a routine?

I just saw a video of Mark Weisman working with Nico Horner. Turns out that he was a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Iowa after his playing days were over. Transitioned from there into a role with the minor leaguers with the Cubs, and then was promoted to the major league staff in 2025.

Pretty cool to see a former Hawk accomplishing their dreams.

Has there been any word on Hannah’s status for tomorrow? I’d like to have as many hands on deck as possible for a challenging game.

Hi,

I am on a quest to visit all of Iowa’s State Parks. Yes, I know that this is normally a warm weather activity, but I was wondering if there were any that are interesting or unique in the winter.

I just got back from their duals against Lehigh and Otterbein. These dominant Hawks deserve our support! As a fan base, we could and should be crushing this scene even more, before other big dogs even get started.

Feel like you won’t know the rules? They do a great job of explaining them, and the differences between Freestyle and Folkstyle.

It’s essentially one-day scavenger hunts in different locations, but kinda gives Jet Lag vibes.

Logan Jones is a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, which goes to the nation's best center. The Rimington Trophy winner is determined by the center with the most first-team votes on the Walter Camp Foundation, Sporting News, and Football Writers Association of America All-America teams.

The fact that I am apparently supposed to subscribe to yet another service (at a price that is damn near embezzlement) just to watch two games is ludicrous. I would have probably forked over upwards of $20 to watch the two games, but trying to get us to plop down 50-100 dollars to watch these two games is a bridge too far.

PS: Get off my lawn.

Other than the National Champion Women's Wrestling Team that took down their second straight championship last season, who do you think is the next national champion team?

Men's wrestling is still a top-5ish program.
Women's basketball was one win away (twice) with a generational talent, but the recruiting seems promising.
Women's soccer and field hockey have both been relatively close.

Nice.

This seems like a common question, but everyone recently was asking about fiber and super fast speeds. I am looking for my parents, who definitely aren’t gaming. About the most intense thing they do is Netflix.

They have been having quite a bit of trouble with Imon recently, and are on their way to getting rid of cable.

Any recommendations? T-Mobile is not available for them.

I got a new pizza oven, and used two-ingredient dough for the crust and didn’t love it. Does anyone have any ideas for how to make it better, or just a new recipe for crust as a whole?
