I've loved Rifftrax for years (ever since the Twilight days and MST3k before that) and and have watched hours worth of Rifftrax on Tubi. I finally decided it was time to try out the Rifftrax Friends subscription. I subscribed and haven't been able to use it much yet, unfortunately. The Roku app says "Unable to reach app services" and has been that way for a couple days. The iOS app was working for an evening but hasn't been working since.

I'm not just coming here to complain and would absolutely love for everything to work. But is this typical with the Friends subscription? Is there something I'm missing?

I remember when Brandon announced the secret projects, he said they would do a book club or something along those lines. Not sure if that idea came to fruition or not. Would love some podcasts or good places where discussion is happening on SP1. Thanks!

I've recently been trying to adjust my sleep schedule, which means that I don't have much time for late night gaming like I normally do (married dad with 4 kids). As a compromise to myself, I've been trying to wake up a bit earlier each morning to give myself about 30 to 45 minutes to game. This works great for certain games, but others, it barely gets me past an intro screen and to a save point before I have to be done. Just looking for games that would help me start my day off right. Been playing Tinykin, which has been perfect for this, but I'm almost done with and looking for other games like it (or other ideas) that help me feel like I had a proper gaming session in that shorter window.

I’ve noticed that a lot of pre-supported from Patreons have been providing minis supported upside down (head closest to the build plate). Is there some reasoning behind this? I thought I’d understood that you want the least visible portion of the mini facing the build plate as it will tend to be blurry and more muddy looking.

Any info or insight on this would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've been doing CICO for the past 162 days and down 38 lbs! Been doing 2 lbs a week, which started me at about 1700 calories a day and LoseIt has since dropped me down to roughly 1500 calories a day. I'm so incredibly happy with the weight loss I've had already since I never imagined seeing myself below 200 lbs, and even more so, almost 20 lbs lower than that. I'm down to a medium sized shirt and 34 inch waist pants (whereas I was breaching size 38s before). I've mostly just been counting calories with some big bike rides every other week or less as well as some light walks every so often.

I have been having a problem the past couple weeks. It appears as though, every time I wake the Shield TV from sleep, everything functions fine for about 30 seconds to a minute. After that, no matter where I’m navigating (apps, settings, main menu), it will freeze up and become unresponsive. This happens consistently any time I wake it from sleep.

I’ve done some testing and been able to confirm that a reset of the Shield fixes it, but when I install a custom launcher (ATV Launcher, Wolf Launcher, Sideload Channel Launcher), it shows the same behavior. A couple weeks ago, I laid a bunch of fresh wood chips in the planter surrounding my home. And then with my luck, last week we had a really bad windstorm and it blew the wood chips into the grass, embedding them quite deeply. They ended up covering about .15 acre of grass. What’s the best way to remove the wood chips? I’ve seen in the past, when I get wood chips on my grass, it ends up killing the grass, so I don’t think leaving it will be an option.

I recently got a Quest 2 (my first first VR headset) and was extremely excited about the prospect of being able to play games on my PC and straight from the Quest, cord free. When I got it, it seems to have been bothering but problems. Everything looks blurry and messy. I feel like I can never get the IPD correct and in the end, I seem to come out of each session with a splitting headache. I have tried most of the tricks. Using the glasses spacer, using glasses that I don’t typically wear, setting the IPD to half steps, using the elite strap. Nothing has helped and I end up getting a headache and blurry vision no matter what I do. I have an IPD of 64.6 so it’s not that extreme of a setup to

I recall (or at least think I recall) seeing some fanart from Hero of Ages with Elend at the final battle. He's almost floating above the ground looking out as the koloss are getting ready to attack. It's almost from an isometric view from behind. I can't seem to find it anywhere and I'm getting worried that I may have just imagined it, rather than actually seeing it. Which makes me sad because I want it on my wall. Any help in locating it would make me really happy!

Automatic charges kick off on May 31st.

I recently picked up a pair of the ELAC Debut 2.0s to kick off setting up my 5.1 home theater (after wanting to start one for years). I'd heard great things about the Debut 2.0's and so far, have been loving them. I am now looking into picking up a center channel to boost up the dialog a bit.

I would like to find something that roughly matches audio well with the Debut 2.0's and isn't wider than 19 - 20 inches (thanks to entertainment channel restrictions). Budget falls in the $250 and below range. I haven't heard very good things about the ELAC C5.2 center channel so I'm not too interested in that (it also is too large for the 19-20" limitation). I have looked into some different options
