I'm looking into adding a monitor to my surface book 3 and just bought a surface dock. I haven't ever heard of usbc as a way to connect to monitors. Can I just use any old monitor? A quick search seems to tell me that a usbc monitor would be powered straight from the dock? Is this correct? I'd heard the old docks could barely even power the surface book itself. I'm also wondering if it would be better to go with a 1080p monitor for gaming as this computer doesn't have that much power, or would just going to 4k and scaling down to 1080p be fine?

I was watching a Youtube video and a song that played a few time's in the video sounded suspiciously like Outro.
Anyone have any headphones that work with the Dell visor and are comfortable? I want something other than ear buds so they aren't gross to share.
If I could get a tostaren bobblehead I would shit a brick. Bonus points for it being an amiibo. It would my first and likely only amiibo owned.
Do you just lie?
I put a deep up 10 ft in the 3way split of a tree in my backyard with a swarm lure around a week and a half ago and as of around 5 days ago, there have been bees coming in and out of the hive. The amount seems to depend on the temperature. Should I open it and check? The issue is I can only see the bottom of the hive with the ladder I have without taking it down and I got a bad poison ivy rash from ivy on the tree when I put it up, so I don't want to check unless that's what I need to be doing.
I'm on Verizon wireless in the US, My contract is up and I'm switching from a Galaxy s4. I've had a lot of problems with this phone and am mainly annoyed with the lack of storage. the S7 would have twice that storage at 32gb. I'm also looking at the S7 because there is a deal with Verizon to get a Gear S2 watch if I order it online soon.
I really love the fact that the Nexus 6p gets fast updates and wouldn't be covered in useless apps, but it's apparently a pain if even possible to get it activated on Verizon.
The LGV10 used to be my first choice because of the removable battery, DAC, and storage but there seems to be a lot of problems with it.
I just bought a Slim phatty and am clueless on where to start looking for a better controller for it than the little keys on my microkorg. I've thought about getting a wind controller since I'm much more proficient at the sax than I am with keys, but I'm not sure if that's possible. It seems like most people play presets with those and not synths. Sorry if this is in the wrong subreddit.
I was just wondering if a butt joint or miter would work just as well. Every Bee box I've seen always has those finger joints holding it together but you need special blades and a sled to make those.
I finally got my package in today and the queen cage was only stapled on one end of the screen so the Queen got out. I saw what may been it flying around clumsily but couldn't catch it. Should I wait until I can have it replaced while the bees sit in their package or unload the package anyway tomorrow evening without the Queen and hope it comes back? I heard bees will often kill a new Queen if it hasn't been kept in the cage long enough.
