A picture is a thousand words so I annotated friedrich's manual to give some context about the question.

  1. Can I do this safely myself? (I have tools and basic knowhow of electrical wiring in my house).

  2. Any other caveats you can think of while replacing it?

From friedrich's manual(see link below)

Friedrich's own support tells me they cannot provide this advice due to legal issues. So can someone tell me if this is safe to do. You can assume the following

  1. There was an very old carrier PTAC unit plugged into the NEMA 6-15r(see below) that this is replacing.

I live in a condo in Hoboken and I want to do a conversion from a bathtub to a standing shower and the city inspector building codes is asking me for sealed drawings. I am not changing the floor area or redoing plumbing. Just bath tub to shower conversion with new tiles

  1. could someone recommend an architect that can do this quickly?

  2. how much should I expect to pay for this service?

I have been in touch with someone over email with the company that makes this product https://youtu.be/W2WWnEMW7aw?t=12&si=WUYpAt4nEahSpZyc

In one sentence my hypothesis is that: it could be added to existing condo units without any major structural changes. That is key, especially for older structures. Raising their functionality and market value.

For the Bloomframe product see https://www.bloomframe.com/

I live in the North East US in a condo and I have no idea how I could get[§] this company to consider starting a permitting process in my state/city short of asking them — which I have and they say that they are getting permits for the EU countries first, something that can take fore

I live in a large condo community in Hoboken. I wanted to replace my bathroom's tub with a shower area and add new floor tiles. I'll reuse my existing vanity and commode. No changes to existing plumbing or electrical required.

  1. Would I need permits?

  2. If I do, how long do they take?

  3. How much do permits for this work typically cost?

My friend ~40 yo in their current job(10 years) is a manager with a functional role — a very client facing — where they help configure a B2B SaaS Product for clients. Let's call this product ACME. The domain of ACME is Financial Risk Management. They really want to change their job so as to learn something else.

As they put it in every conversation we have: "I literally have no skill other than knowing how this (very specialized) ACME works; what skills do I have that someone will hire me for?"

I see there is some truth and some falseness(as I see it) to this argument, the truth part is that there is client interaction but no experience of actual trading or decision making pr

Does any platform let me do an analysis for the above 3 brokerage accounts? I want a view of my portfolio that gives me a view on breakdown by sector, country etc so I can continue to invest.

NOTE: Fidelity is my 401K+Roth account and has a Brokerage account tied to it. Schwab and Vanguard are trading accounts for non retirement.

Tl;DR: Why is it hard/not worth for a fintech startup to focus on shorter term higher yield for customers using CDs?

-> And no maxmyinterest.com is not so good at maximizing your cash yield (only ~4% last i checked) and they seem to be pivoting their business away from this <-

-> Also Vanguard/Schwab brokered CDs https://imgur.com/a/ZkUgf0G are < 4% <-

Yield on ordinary cash for me is a tradeoff between Effort vs Return. I generally put my spare cash in a money market fund in a brokerage which is ~4% SEC yield right now and is the easiest by far.

Yet there are 6 month on CD's that yield any where from 4.25 - 5.00% like [here
