My BF's birthday is coming up, his first since we started dating. He has a big Lego collection and is constantly in the lookout for sets he wants.

I am not going to buy him Lego for his birthday. I know well enough not to buy a collector of anything something for their collection unless your are a collector yourself or there is something they asked for specifically. But I can get him something Lego adjacent.

Any ideas?

I wish I could have one morning where I did not come into work freaking out about being late. Today I was late to a weekly meeting.

The days I do get up early and get going, feel wonderful. I end up doing chores, journaling, make coffee, and get to work early and eager for the day.

But I just cannot make it to work on time no matter how early I get to sleep. I waste so much time just staring at nothing or at a screen, or just closing my eyes in the morning

I know people don't like the Switch Lite, but I wanted a handheld game where I did not need to deal with hooking up to a TV. It was so great for travel and playing in bed or on the couch with my cats. I fell in love with Pokémon again (The last I played was Pokémon Yellow, lol) discovered so many fun games, devoured the two new Zelda games.

Anyways, so many games have come out for S

I'm having a rough day and just need to rant. I am so bad at being "feminine." Things that women are supposed to be "naturally" good at take so much work and effort for me. We're supposed to be clean, organized, pretty, put together ect. There's an extra layer of anxiety of just being bad at your gender.

And I know a lot of this is patriarchal BS. But there is a difference between knowing... and knowing. It's really hard to stop flashing back to childhood and being called "like a boy" because I was the one with a messy desk and bad handwriting. My brother was neater than me. (The 90's and early 2000s was not a very kind period for discussions of gender presentation. We used "gay" as an ins

The DC pen show is a week away! Anyone prepping? Have you written a wishlist list? Are you going to any seminars or workshops? Is there anything this year that is a must see?

Do you want to have a meet up?
