Suddenly exchange.bitpanda.com redirects to exchange.onetrading.com.

Everything is paused, BTC and ETH withdrawals are not possible as not account can be added, there is no imprint (the link gives a 404), 2FA cannot be changed.

The API also seems not to work. How long until api.bitpanda.com is replaced?

This seems very fishy as the announcement email was sent at the same time as the "rebranding". Then nothing works, funds are stuck right now and no proper announcements and information are posted.

What changes in the company structure does this entail? - Providing no imprint is illegal afaik.

The fact that recover users can restore on any ledger device, in my opinion, means:

  1. There is one, yes only one (1), decryption key that's stored on all devices.

  2. The same one key will work for recoveries of all users.

  3. Ledger holds and knows that decryption key. Someone needs to put it on the devices, probably using the firmware.

Can you confirm this?

Also, when you say that the shards are sent via e2e encrypted tunnels to the providers:

  1. That's one ssl post request to an api? 2 shards are moved after upload?

  2. Three ssl connections to three apis?

  3. One or three rsync, ssh, sftp, .. file transfers?

Please just post the technical specs and documentation of the who

According to your own website, archived here: https://web.archive.org/web/20230408044930/https://www.ledger.com/academy/security/the-secure-element-whistanding-security-attacks

You say: "Inside Ledger’s hardware wallets, we use the Secure Element to generate and store private keys for your crypto assets. Thanks to the mechanics of the Secure Element, these will not leave your device."

As it turns out a version of our keys can now leave the device. Be it in three shards, encrypted or whatever else doesn't matter. The fact that something can be exported that can be used to restore on any ledger device means that you built a backdoor on pupose and you lied about the hardware.

So 1) will you

A new app version came out, but sadly there is still no option to skip the dashboard.

The dashboard is rather slow and for me very useless.

I'd like to directly go to the portfolio, like it used to be for a long time.

I find the fact that exodus is forcing the dashboard very disturbing. Implementing such a feature and major UI change without an option to disable it makes me worry about the future direction of exodus.

Can we please have an official confirmation, if a setting to have the portfolio as a start page is in the works, or do I have to change to a different wallet?
