Hi everyone, my bazzite seems stuck in this version. Either ujust update or the GUI updater just don't seem to find anything new.
On the github there are newer releases.
Is it just me?

What was the last announcement after then framework pro? The stream went private when he started talking about linux
As per dnd 2014
Frightened PHB'14 p290
A frightened creature has disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls while the source of its fear is within line of sight.
The creature can't willingly move closer to the source of its fear.
Source: PHB'14, page 290. Also found in RMR, page 62; HftT, page 48. Available in the SRD 5.1 and the Basic Rules (5e/2014).
So if I close my eyes or turn my back to my source of fear, I shouldn't have disadvantage on atrack rolls(is O have something like blindsense) due to being frightened am I correct?
Like title says, how is everything sold out? I would like to buy a cheap battle deck for my kids and all the stores are sold out. Only ebay has some homemade battle decks
In 5th ed, before the aberrant mind and clockwork, sorcerers were kinda bad wizards in a way. Less spells known, etc. So to balance this out and give them some flavour I encourage sorcerers to use the spell points variant (DMG p288), what this does is that instead of spell slots you can just spend spell points.
This way sorcerers have a huge freedom in how they spend their magic, with basically unlimited casts of shield and LVL 1 spells. Or cast a lot of higher level spells. For example a 5th level character with spell points can cast five 3rd level spells or 13 LVL 1 spells or something in between.
I found this gives sorcerers an interesting change from wizards, with less spells known
A character with 8 charisma can be as flirty as the typical horny bard. It just means they are very bad at it, not that they don't do it.
I'm getting to level 7 as a divination wizard, my party has a bow ranger, fighter, pala/lock and a artificer armorer. Killing stuff in combat is mostly their thing, I'm the utility guy.
I have the telekinetic feat and my spells are:
Lvl1:
Lvl 2:
Lvl 3:
Foe 4th level spells I know I want divination but I am unsure about the second one, I might take fly since we are in a flying enemy heavy campaign.
Looking for some fun tips
By reskinning i mean that I describe the spells in a specific way, the mechanics of the spell will be what is written.
I had a blaster half-elf and all his damage spells were a variation of him creating a magic bow into his hands and releasing an glowing arrow of different types.
Fireball? Flaming arrow that explodes on contact.
Ray of frost? He conjures an ice arrow
Scorching ray shoots three arrows in a quick succession.
Etc etc.
I've had dwarven wizards that prepared their spells by writing dwarven runes in their armor and weapons.
Reskinning spells is always a lot of fun
There's so many options and rules that get forgotten and this makes the divide between martials and casters even bigger.
# Disarm A creature can use a weapon attack to knock a weapon or another item from a target's grasp. The attacker makes an attack roll contested by the target's Strength (Athletics) check or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. If the attacker wins the contest, the attack causes no damage or other ill effect, but the defender drops the item.
The attacker has disadvantage on its attack roll if the target is holding the item with two or more hands. The target has advantage on its ability check if it is larger than the attacking creature, or disadvantage if it is smaller.

So tiny servant has 4 str which is about 60 pound of carry weight. 3 tiny servants (1 lvl 4 spell slot) could carry my character, his gear and maybe the wooden plank I would be sitting on. How viable could this be?
With a few more castings I could carry an elaborate platform for 8 hours at walking speed while I sit inside scribing scrolls.
Been using linux for 10 years now, and last year I tried one of these "immutable distros" and I can say its one of the best linux experiences I've ever had. There's bazzite which comes "tuned" for gaming, most things probably give no real advantage but firefox comes with GPU decoding already activated and there's a bunch of scripts to install and set up things like in home game streaming (sunshine/moonlight).
One example of why its so good for newbies:
When fedora was updated to 41, GPU encoding was disabled due to some bug. All I had to do was "rpm-ostree rollback" and pick my previous snapshot. It took me 5 minutes and I didn't had to manually rollback packages and all that headaches, a
