I walked by on Monday and they were closed. I assumed it was the heat. I walked by again yesterday, and they were still closed. I'm gonna miss this place. The food was good, and this was the only place I'd ever take my coffee black. I thought the location was terrible though - that's probably what did them in. Sad to lose another good restaurant, must be a tough business in a tough town.

I hear that the new place on Main Street just opened. I'll have to give that one a shot.

My iPhone died for no reason in particular. "As far as I can tell, you were struck by lightning. Here's a new iPhone," says the tech at the apple store. After restoring my up to date iCloud backup, it did not include the previous day's fitness data and killed all my streaks. Even if it had kept all my fitness data, they had to wipe my watch of the previous ~12 hours of data to re-sync the watch to the new iPhone. Since it was already afternoon by this point, it would have killed my stand streak anyway.

I'm pissed off that the apple closed platform has punished me in this way and I have lost all my motivation to keep up my streaks. I'm becoming increasingly more chafed by the closed platform
